Trouble is, this is football so we never know the end result. Probably why I keep on buying tickets to go and see them and will do whatever there recent form. We've got as much chance as Spuds or whoever else this year. But they havnt got Mesut Ozil

Exactly. We weren't great, but I'll settle for that, 3 points in the bag.

But they have got Harry 'he's one of our own' Kane

Give me Mesut any day.

Lovely finish by the ox today as well. When is Cazorla due back?

What a ridiculous time our Leicester match is on at!

I never thought the result was in any doubt at all today. Don't forget we demolished Leicester back in September. I am predicting a 2-0 win for us next week.

I like your confidence Alan.

My OH was just asking what time he should set off for the game - 9:30am should do nicely, taking in some breakfast in a cafe on the Holloway Rd, plus a pint!

I concur. We haven't got the best of records with these early kick offs. I know we beat them 5-2 in September but they were so open that day and we were playing much better then. I expect a much tougher game this time around. The fans will be extra quiet due to the early kick off. We can't be starting this match slowly.

I'd be surprised to see him back this season. And boy are we missing him - despite the decent result today that central midfield was still all over the place.

Nice to see Chamberlain back on the scoresheet. Fingers crossed he'll start to remember how to play football again.

I know... Got to leave where I am around 8am! My daughter now can't make it as she'd booked the previous day off for the game. Then they changed it for the Sunday with less than 3 weeks notice. Give them there due tho Arsenal refunded the ticket. Apparently Sky went and changed it without asking any of the clubs involved! They literally don't give a monkeys about the people that actually go lol

Yes, I had a right saga with this game.

Sold my season tickets on the club exchange as I couldn't make next Saturday, then those bar stewards at Sky made it a Sunday game at the last moment, which I can make. Had to buy two different tickets over the other side of the stadium back from the club but they're still keeping their share of the original sale price, plus my booking fee on the replacements.

Anyway, should be a great game. Hopefully, we can get our sh1t together and do a bit better than Citeh yesterday, who I see are playing the spuds next weekend, so that's some kind of winner for us, regardless.

Good solid win. As usual when we score/win I missed the 1st half...

Tricky rest of the month coming up, would probably take 8 points of the next four games, but we could do with more.

Does anyone know the story behind Özil's three fingers down celebration? He's really turned up a notch this season, hopefully he'll progress even more. Such a silky player, love watching him play.

I'm guessing it means M for Mesut?

I worry for Walcott. Wenger could have brought him on earlier instead he chooses Gibbs. Ox may have played himself back into the team but still needs to cut out the sloppy passes he sometimes plays.

Hope we do a Leicester against Leicester and play on the break and let them have the ball as they're not half the side they are when they have lots of possession.

as long as we don't try the possession/play a high line defence vs Leicester -we give the ball away so many times at present. Also hope Coquelin plays ahead of Flamini.

Thinking of trying to get a Red ticket tomorrow morning for the Barcelona game. They go on sale at 10. I have to go out at 10.20....what time does it work to actually login to get to the queue front as quickly as possible? I once tried 9.30 only for it to tell me tickets not on sale, then when I went back in was queued for ages and didn't get one. Any tips? cheers.

Was after tickets to the Leicester game as a Red member. Looked this morning and they are all sold out when usually there are a few seats remaining dotted around the stadium.

Might be tempted to watch the Barca game but worried we'll get a footballing lesson by their front three

My tip would be to log in early before 9 to join the online queue in time for 10am when the tickets go on sale to Red members.

When I was a red I'd have my login & password there ready to press go. You can log in early though, but most of the time everyone else has the same idea so you're already in a queue. It's not the easiest system as too much demand tends to crash the website.

Progressed a 1/4 inch in 45 mins
Got a GP appointment at 10.30, which, given that he works only a 2 day week, means 11.15 then home by 11.40 by which time they'll be all gone.
Usual search on exchange I suppose. I'm not expecting anything other than a bad result, but quite fancied seeing just how good those front 3 are in the flesh. I went to Jupp Heynkes' Bayern game and they were on another planet, particularly the horrible Ribery.
Sat next to German fans, who had bought up a lot of the Clock End, no doubt from the UK online sites....
Oh well, no doubt there's not much change from £100 for right up the back behind the goal, so shouldn't be doing it really anyway.

1 hour wait for GP! Still in the red line when I got home with a message on screen that it'd already sold out. Who gets these tickets?!
No wonder no-one's too bothered at the Arsenal about ticket prices

He'll be like a new signing for them!

Abou Diaby is set to return to action for Marseille after 17 months in the treatment room.

Injury-prone Diaby managed only two appearances in his final two seasons with the Gunners and was finally released in the summer.

His bad luck has continued in his native France after getting injured in training, but he is in line for a return in Marseille's French cup game against fourth Trelissac on Thursday.

So what could Diaby have done during his 506 days on the sidelines?

Broken up with a partner - and got over it.

What a bore. The ticket system is a bit of a mare. Mr S sold his on Ticket Exchange last week as he cant go. I couldn't have even told you the moment he'd put it up as the Red wasn't open then. Keep checking exchange though as something might pop up. Who'd have thought it at the beginning of the season, Leicester the hottest ticket in town

What did you think of Wenger's comments regarding ticket prices?

Sounded more like an exec to me with some strange justifications.

It's a disgrace tbh that he called the club 'a company'. He is just toeing the line from what Kroenke wants Arsenal to be.

On one hand he says Leicester should be admired for the way they bought cheap players and made them into top players. On the other hand he says the ticket prices cannot be dropped to pay for world class players (even though he paid for a relative unknown in Elneny as the only outfield signing in two transfer windows). You can't have it both ways especially when the influx of tv money that allows for some flexibility.

It's pure greed in all honesty and it's no wonder the atmosphere at home games is as dry as they are when the working class get priced out of games.

Wenger calling for the fans not to boycott the first 5 mins of the match; whether they do or not won't make any difference to the atmosphere. It will still be near silent either way.

My blueprint solution to the ticket pricing and try to get some kind of atmosphere in the stadium is to do away with a section of seating, make it standing room for say £20 each. Obviously controlled standing, nothing like it was back in the day but a quota of people who can safely stand. Do some re-jigging about to get the fans closer to the action behind the goals. I realise legislation is required to have standing but if the will is there. I also know that Arsenal FC will not entertain the idea at all even if they were allowed to introduce such a policy. One can hope though.

Regarding the match itself, we can not sleep walk into this game. We need to be out of the starting blocks from the word go. We just have to win this match. Man City will beat TH I am sure, so we can't afford any more slip ups.

We need the attitude we displayed against man city, Olympiakos and Zagreb. That form has been sadly missing in recent weeks.. ticket prices should be reduced for all sections of the ground for all age groups and levels of society!
