if they had 11 men we wouldn't have even got a point i think. need to really wake up in the remaining games .just need the saucepans to balls up now
Alexis and Ozil had a poor game by their standards. Once they come into form we will play a lot better.

The British core stepped up this game.

Only team to do the double over Leicester this season.

All we need is for city and spuds to kick 7 shits out of eachother whilst getting a draw and today will be a great day

I think I just ruptured something leaping off the sofa

Not a great fan of Welbeck but you have to be delighted for him today.

Think that might cripple Leicester's title chances now, psychologically as much as anything. Which is fair enough as they nearly crippled a few of our players today.

That's it. We need all our best players to play well at the same time.

What a way to win. We were all over them. So much energy and desire which hasn't been the case lately. Still over play it a bit near the goal and our shooting today was awful. So pleased for Welbeck. We have been crying out for some support to Giroud and if he can stay fit then could be vital in the title push.

Much needed win, I hope this only kicks us on further. Our goal difference is poor for a club that's challenging for the title.

One of the best celebrations ever at the end not sure what game 95% of you were watching but being there we seemed to be all over them and if any team deserved it we did...2 points of the top now and confidence has got to be high after that Duh duh duh duh...Danny Welbeck!

It was a more northerly team type celebration you saw how much that goal meant

We just need Cazorla back now for trip to Old Trafford in 2 weeks. Another absolutely critical match.

Spot on. Cazorla instead of Ramsey, Walcott instead of Ox. Great chance to do the double over Man U.

Looking good for us at the Etihad. A draw would suit us best, failing that, a City win. If we can win one or two of the away games against them, we're in prime position. Leicester will drop more points over the coming weeks, I think.

Yes we have still to go WHL and Etihad. We won at both last season

Spuds got a soft penalty imo - Sterling was looking away and the ball hit his ribs first, not his arm.

Thought they lost at WHL last season?

City are losing. Wouldn't like to be up against them in a title race, but surely Arsenal would fancy their chances against any other team?

Now it just needs to stay at this scoreline and it's a great Valentine's Day for Gooners.

Spurs take the lead and I'm not so sure there will be a St Totteringham's Day this year.

Things change quickly, but can't see City winning the title.

Good news for Arsenal then.
