That result confirms them as title contenders unfortunately.
Good, keeps them in the limelight.

City are too inconsistent. But another defeat means they don't look likely to win the title which boosts Arsenal's chances.

IT'S ours to lose now, well so the bookie says this week lol. Just have to win all our games.

Hardly. We have a very difficult run-in.

This could well go down to the wire. Looking ahead (I know, I know!) but looking at the final set of fixtures, it could not be any better for us. Villa at home. Leicester have Chelsea away, TH have Newcastle away and MC have Swansea away.

Even if we would, Leicester could still be above us, no?

As much as it pains me to say it, for once I actually think they might be onto something. In Pochettino they have a really excellent young manager.

There will be some twists and turns yet. Leicester have the easiest run-in out of the four but it's often the games where you don't expect upsets that produce an upset!

Great win today, doesn't matter how you get it at this stage. Had been saying before the game that if Leicester beat us, they would win the title. It's a three horse race for me now; shame Spurs won, they look in good shape I have to say.

All teams have difficult run- ings. The bookies have us as favs for a reason. We have a good chance after today its wether we push on and take it. Normally by this time our race is ended.

Yeah they could but there are more twists and turns.

It must be quite sobering for you and other Arsenal fans to deal with Spurs' new-found form and potential success.

For so many years Arsenal were the club challenging at the top end and Spurs were nowhere, and in the seasons when they did get close to you, there was nothing really riding on it.

Now they're threatening to become the top North London side and the champions in one fell swoop.

You must be feeling how Man Utd fans felt when Man City became a big player at the top of English football.

I wouldn't be so quick to write off Man City just yet. Am assuming they aren't in your three horse race. They are still in this title race, just about. Things can change very quickly.

No, actually Leicester have quite a nice run-in and Spurs isn't too bad either.

Arsenal's forward play is really unconvincing. Really need to see Giroud, Welbeck, Walcott and importantly Sanchez clicking urgently.

Well I can't deny I'm not gutted, but Arsenal have stagnated with the same old unimiganative manager, so we will only have ourselves to blame if the Totts do win the PL.

Still, they haven't won it yet - time for them to revert to type

Now, to relax and watch the second half. Missed all the fun and games as I was out.

Like someone said, better for my health that I missed the last few minutes anyway as they were heart-stopping moments.

Will be back later.

PS: I see the neighbours won too!

Tbh one good season would not make them the better team in North London neither would winning the league. They would have to dominate for years. They are playing well but out if the two they are playing under no pressure, if they did not win the league it is no big deal, if we do not its disaterous.

I Agree with thr lovely Sats, its our own making they have caught us the club, manager etc have faffed about for 2 long, with tightness, stuborness and silly projects. We could really struggle next season if the rest get their acts togethet.

As for this season lots of time left, so spurs should not celebrate just yet. NLD bring it on i say.

Fair play, but at this stage of the season, no game is easy, Spurs have EL that will not help, we probs will be out of Europe which can help us. Lecister yup are tricky but can easily slip up soon. Sanchez is off form but if out attacks him form now then we have a great chance.

I'm a United fan, I don't think our situation versus Man City is really comparable to Arsenal versus Spurs. Right now, (and probably has been this way for sometime) United structurally as a club has been a mess. From the reports of the youth system being in a bit of mess, a series of poor managers, Woodward, we've really struggled in our transition period. City has been ahead of us in terms of youth-set up, and the general structure of their club for years. They are now able to attract the best managers in the world and have been far more successful in terms of trophies than United have in recent years. It hasn't really reached that point for Arsenal in regard to Spurs. There's still plenty to play for this season, although Spurs look a complete side than Arsenal right now in terms of form, it could change. Both teams appear to have decent youth prospects coming through. Arsenal have been criticised for aiming for fourth, but rather ironically my team, Chelsea, and Liverpool at this stage talk about fourth as if it was a trophy.

It'll be interesting to see the mix of teams next year, given the improvements United, City, Chelsea are planning the summer. Klopp is also likely to want to get some players in the summer as well.

Punditry just hit an all time low on MOTD.

'Vardy has every right to go down'

And yet they can say

'I don't like Ramsey rolling around there' for the tackle that almost broke his leg in half.

The agenda is against us is unreal.

Well both statements were correct - no need to be so paranoid.

I hope this win instills some belief but we've seen so many slip-ups when you think they're on a roll. Gonna be a wild ride.

I was thinking the same thing. MOTD said its "gamesmanship, its very clever" from Vardy, no its not, its cheating you b******s He was running away from the ball before going over Nacho's leg FFS!
