Nobody played well but Walcott and Ramsey stood out for me. Ramsey in the middle just doesn't do enough work defensively I really can't work out what is going through his mind for the United third goal either, it was just mind boggling.
Walcott was so bad it was actually funny watching the ball bounce off even if he only had a few touches, does he actually like getting involved in the game. |

So we are 5 behind Leicester and 3 behind Spurs. And the latter are the ones we meet next aren't they?

All I can say is Wenger's very lucky Arsenal didn't get knocked out of the FA Cup.

We still can't beat an injury ravaged Utd. Their kid Rashford looks a promising prospect. We never seem able to pull any of our kids of our production line to challenge Giroud, Walcott etc. Speaking of, Walcott should hang his head in shame at that gutless, waste of time performance. Charlie big potatoes shown up by a raw kid.
This is also what happens when you don't strengthen in the summer. Wenger's blind faith in his players has cost us dearly. Money in the bank and we squander any chance of winning a title cos Wenger couldn't find one outfield player that would improve his squad. He either starts getting rid of the deadwood and spending some hard cash or let somebody else do it. His dithering and reluctance to spend is holding this club back. |

Wonder what his excuse will be for this one?

we looked like a mid table side with nothing to play for. Sadly, this didn't come as a huge surprise. Only Welbeck looked up for it and he got subbed.....for Iwobi?! I give up.
Between us and LVG's youth team for 4th. MotM was LVG for his hilarious efforts in honour of the 4th official on the touchline. |

From being top of the league to scrapping for 4th.
I despair. We always get shown up kids - Shearer, Rooney, Danny Rose etc... |

My Son asked me who was Arsenals best player today...all I could think of was Cech and he let in 3...the players well and truly let themselves and Arsenal football club down and should be ashamed. Although if you take it to its logical conclusion they went out on the pitch with a couldn't give a s**t attitude as it was, so they probably don't give a monkeys anyway. Unlike the poor sods that gave up there time and money to travel up there and watch that.

Fourth is looking a little tighter now. We'll go through the motions in the Champions League second leg and about half of the Premier League matches left and just win the others to make sure we nick 4th on the last day, to make sure that we qualify for the Champions League next season...
When we'll do the bare minimum to get through the group stages in second place, when the focus will then shift from the Champions League and the Title, to making sure that we finish 4th and qualify for the Champions League... Where we'll do the bare minimum ... and repeat. Same old sh*te year after year. |

We don't bring through youngsters to play in the first team, bar Wilshere who was a no Brainer. We bring them through to sell on after some League Cup matches. |

Can't say I am that confident we will beat Swansea on Wednesday. Then the NLD to come. TH have a tricky away at West Ham on Wed. I am not giving up hope but we simply have to win these next 2 games. If we can't be up for a NLD then we as may well give up.
Why don't the f we shoot? Every time it's trying to find that killer pass. Sanchez near the end, I said shoot but no, he attempts a pass and it breaks down. We were still playing it out from the back with the clock running down. Just get it in the effing box and get some knock downs. It's not rocket science. Sod the pretty football. Let's just score without all the effing fuss. |

We bring them through to sell on after some League Cup matches. Seriously though, I know not every kid will make it at Arsenal but really, our record is shocking. A few years back when we would beat teams for fun in the League Cup, okay mostly lower league clubs but still with experienced players, the media etc were gushing about how good they all were. Not one of them has made the step up. Wilshere yes but how much game time is he going to have with his glass ankles?

Same old claptrap from the manager....commitment....don't make me laugh...
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, speaking to BBC Sport: "We played with a lot of intensity, I cannot fault our commitment and spirit and desire but I feel we conceded too easy goals. "I think after the game we have to be positive and prepare for the next one. We have another game on Wednesday, they come thick and fast and you want to keep a good mentality. "We did fight until the end, we had a lot of the ball but I think we could avoid the goals with better concentration. "I am disappointed because we lost the game but we will focus on the next one. This is a fight where you go to the next one and aim to come back even stronger." |

What a load of arse. If the fight and m*nt*l str*ng*h isnt there to beat a Utd side ravaged by injuries, he should go, or the players at least stand up and be counted.
Spuds will be licking their lips at facing us.

We may have had a lot of the ball as he puts it but it means jack sh** if you do sweet FA with it. Passing it backwards and sideways without any end product is what we are good at.

Is Arsene Wenger lacking in something. His record against Mourinho for example is quite one sided and poor. Seems to bring stability and regular top four league positioning. But in terms of winning the league and champions league record - there seems to be a ceiling.
Who would be Wenger's choice to succeed him? I am sure that he would be kicked upstairs and stay with Arsenal in some role after the service he has provided to the club. |

Time after time, year after year we see this. Doesn't matter what our starting line up is or what the oppositions is, we can't do it, simp!e as that. There is an underlying problem at our club and no one wants to deal with it.
