What are we still in touch with.?
This is a team that has won 4 games out of 15 in all competitions in 2016 remember.
Absolute bottle jobs and there'll be plenty more to come.

If Lecister win today. At least Sanchez should take some confidence from today, Elney looked the business. There was plenty if positives today.

Er the title. There's still 9 games to go. I am not going to pretend we are in the box seat cos we ain't but there are going to be some more twists and turns yet. This is far from over.

A loss today then that would have been it. I am not saying we are going to win it but sometimes games like today can be a catalyst for a bit of a run. I'll give them plenty of stick when we lose like the last 2 before this game but we did well to come out of this with a point under the circumstances. With 9 games left there's still plenty to play for.

Arsenal, Spurs & City all lost during the week. There is alot of football to be played yet. Everybody though that leicester drawing with West Brom was a bad result on tuesday. The day after it didn't seem so bad.

I did actually laugh out loud. This team win the title? It would take an almighty fall from grace from Spurs and Leicester.

We can barely score goals and we let in too many the other end. I've rarely been so disappointed in Arsenal's performances as I have this season. We had a guilt-edge chance to do well and play as if we have all the time in the world to sustain a challenge.

That's what people said after Leicester, then look what happened...

That's done and dusted though. We change past results and performances. What's important is the next 9 games. Leicester and Tott still have hard games, as we do but it's been such a crazy season that nothing would surprise me now.

The difference between them and us is that they wouldn't get beaten 2-1 at home by Swansea.

I see nothing at all to be positive about with Arsenal, except the slim possibility that Wenger might leave the club by mutual consent at the end of the season.

I am only trying to be a bit positive. I know we have been sh** but I'll give them credit today for not losing against a very good Tottenham team with a hostile atmosphere and down to 10 men. I do think complacency has cost us big time this season but we have been given a lifeline of sorts. It's up to the players to make the most of it. We can't control what the other teams do. We can only do our bit and see where it gets us. That's all!

Then again we didn't get beat by Newcastle at home like they did. What's happened has happened. Teams are capable of beating each other. Except Aston Villa.

I would have taken a point at the outset after the week we have had.

Dream on about Wenger leaving at the end of the season. Ain't gonna happen.

To be fair, I used to be like this. But making only one signing - a goalkeeper at the start of the season was the very last straw. I knew it would come to this.

I would like nothing more than for Arsene to bow out with a Premier League title, but his stunning arrogance has surely put paid to that.

United away, then Swansea at home -- two games we traditionally don't fare well.

There's still a lot of football to be played. The gap between Spurs and ourselves is nothing on paper, and I don't think any of the four will go on an amazing run.

But Arsenal still have to play West Ham, Sunderland, Everton away, before facing City. Need four big performances, which sadly don't think is likely. But anything can happen in football....

I can't fault the players conciding we were down a man for most of the 2nd half & i think this side of London will be happier.
In truth we are playing mind games from now on.

Really though? is that not 3 games in a row Arsenal haven't won with the League sitting on a plate. Awful results, bums have squeeked big time.

We all thought it was folly not to sign any outfield players but there's no point in bellyaching about it now. Well we can but it won't make any difference. We are where we are and while we are still in with a shout then I have hope. Not a lot of hope but hope all the same. It's really a scrap from here on in and who can hold their nerve. It's not a given Leicester will win their remaining games. I really don't care how we score or how we play as long as we win them. Whatever happens there will be changes made in the summer. There has to be.

This is the problem though. The anger never gets through to Wenger - not from the board, not from the fans, not from the press. He is in his own little bubble.

The mental strength of the team was much improved. We need to get back to winning ways next week. Starting Tuesday. Plenty of time for recriminations at the end of the season. There have been some very poor results this season but every team has had them. I think Leicester could pull off the greatest surprise since forest in 1978.

Just to add Coq isn't the answer to our midfield defensive situation either. He's been talked up since he came on the scene because we were so lacking in that area but I always felt he was a little over rated. A decent player but that's all. A good one to have in the squad but there are better players out there and even Elneny can maybe do a job there. It's no good expecting players to receive a yellow every time they play and handicapping the team.

Does the thread think Schneiderlin should have been signed?

I know but I do think he know's he will have to do some transfer business in the summer come what may. I don't just mean players leaving either. He gambled on not signing anyone bar a keeper and it's costing us but I can't see him not bringing anyone in.

I do think he is aware of the anger. The media/press do challenge him, especially the written press. He's good at brushing it off. He know's the fans were mightily pissed off after the Utd and Swansea matches, especially the latter.

In the meantime we just have to get on with it.

I am not happy with overall results but we have come out of a determined Spurs side with a point.

Well he was available and yes I would have been happy if he joined. To rely on Flamini and Arteta as backups to get you through a long hard season was asking for trouble. Coq would have still featured had we signed Schneiderlin but the workload wouldn't have been so much for him. Wenger being Wenger though showed far too much loyalty to a player. It's admirable but also a little short sighted. Going back, he only recalled Coq from Charlton because he had to as Arteta was crocked. It was more by accident than design.
