Utterly predictable goal back there.
Mental strength.

This atmosphere and general feeling has all the hallmarks of a manager nearing the end of his time. I recall it with Terry Neil then George Graham. The fans had enough and it was getting to the players. It just wasn't happening for whatever reason. The respective boards had the gumption to change things but also the fans were instrumental. I just don't know if this board for want of a better word as we are controlled by one man has the balls to do the same thing.

We are in desperate need for a change. Wenger stubbornly bats away any criticism and gives spin Alistair Campbell would be proud off. Enough is enough.

Why couldn't we have played like this for 99% of the game? I just don't get it.

Well done to Watford, they deserved it.

Wenger, more humiliation will be heaped upon us from Barcelona, I have no doubt. He's got to go.

Explain this one then Wenger. That's our season effectively over.

Complacency? Missed chances have again cost us. Combined with shambolic schoolboy defending. Players not being able or unwilling to shoot with the wrong foot. This obsession with passing all the time when other teams just get on with it.

Gabriel is effing usesless. Just effing well spend the money Wenger if you are going to stick around.

Where was this urgency in the 80 odd minutes?

Arsenal gifted two stupid goals, so deserve to go out. They never learn. Watford weren't brilliant, they just took their chances.

I do agree with what a poster said earlier. What would encourage a season ticket holder to renew for next season?
It will be the same thing next year. So much promise but falling short against teams you really should beat.

Ian Wright's saying it's the players fault, not Wenger's. And he's usually a big critic of Wenger.

Can't see Ozil signing a new contract. And who can blame him, the players around him are just utter sh*t.

Was Walcott even on the pitch?

Wenger should have left last season after winning the FA Cup. Our season is a ****ing shambles.

He us right, players had so many chances and failed to convert. Not sure you can blame the manager for this. Its a cup game and in these games anything can happen. I guess most of these may have had their minds on Barca. Tbh not really bothered we went out, this is the end for Wenger though.

Another game where we have 20+ shots but only something like 4/5 on target. Obviously everything the opposition does resembles danger and they score from 2 shots on target.

The reason we turn it on in the last 10 minutes is because the opposition are knackered and don't press as much - not because we do anything different

If teams sit centrally, slightly deep and break quick and get lucky they'll probably be at least at 0-0 , 0-1 going into the last 10-20 mins.

Our confidence and self-belief take a hit then we stroll through to HT wait to just turn it up at the end of the match

Freak games like today happen, one because the opposition score a worldy, the other because we miss sitters

Ashame our run has come to an end.

Kroenke and the board can go to hell. The worst thing that could happen to the club.

We're making a healthy profit and getting into the CL every season so no reason to get rid of Wenger who is stuck in the past.

Not really, who'd blame them. The most expensive tickets in the PL to watch that dross, the fans are rightly cheesed off. That team don't deserve our support.

How can we win 4-0 at Hull on Tuesday then put in a performance like that today? We really are a jekyll and hyde team.
