You've got a point there. This time next year we'll all still be saying the same thing, it's like being on a Merry-go-Round.

For all those Pro-Kroenke, his comments this week proves he is the wrong owner for this club http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/foot...-a3202046.html

Disgraceful comments and shows how it's all about money rather than success on the pitch.

How crucial is that Everton game next week

Sorry I am determined on change now. I was prepared to give him a chance as long we were in the FA cup but that is gone I would propose we get a manager who can bring defensive organisation to the team.

The slide began with our collapse at Southampton.

As Belligerance said earlier, I'd question the Club to get us a decent replacement when Wenger finally leaves anyway.

Well if people don't renew questions will have to be asked.

I heard that Wenger's contract expires after next season. So unless he renews I imagine he'll retire then, the club wouldn't sack him and I doubt he'd walk or resign.

Watford gave notice at Old Trafford that they were going to be a threat today. The only redeeming feature was a Wellbeck goal.

No one on this thread wants wenger to continue now. Results in 2016 have been abysmal. We have massively regressed as we did in 2014. It keeps happening.

Did you go the match today? Did we ever look like getting an equaliser?

If we include that Southampton collapse the stats are even worse.

I think we need to start visualising Spurs winning the Premiership because it's getting more likely. Start now & the reality might not be as dreadful.

No Allan, I haven't been to the Emirates for about 2 years. My husband however did and he came home saying we were awful, but he's so fed up he says that every time

I would have loved us to win the FA Cup for a historical 3rd time on the spin but it's gone now. As for the league, I know after the Tott game I said we are still in with a shout but I just can't see us putting a run together now. In a way I am past caring too. I do think we will be in the top 4 but we really have blown what was a very winnable title. It's either Leicester or Tott now.

What annoys me is that fans are not allowed to want change or it's disrespectful to want Wenger out. We must be forever in his debt. Keown is one that still goes on like that. He can't bring himself to say Wenger isn't up to it anymore. He still thinks we play attractive football. But it's okay for other clubs to sack their manager at will but not Arsenal. Id'rather not see him sacked but again I am getting to a point that I don't care if he is. Not that it will happen but this can't continue.

Assuming Wenger will be here for the beginning of next season then I would like a successor to be found and earmarked for the following season. If Wenger wants to go on a spending spree in the summer...haha...then let him do it but we need to seek out a new manager and just hope that Wenger is not offered an extension.

Hearing him post match was quite telling. He sounded like a broken man who has completely lost the players. There was no real insight. Just the usual, we made mistakes at the back, didn't take our chances and we have to focus on the next match. Utter piffle all of it. The players have become too comfortable with it all. Wenger no longer has that winning mentality. The hunger has gone. Players like Walcott and Ox Chamberlain haven't progressed at all. These young British players, Wilshere, Ramsey etc were supposed to be the backbone of the team. Wilshere will get a few games before the season is out. Go to the Euros then he will suffer another injury and so on it will go. There needs to be a fundamental change to it all.

Please no, that really would be the end of life as we know it.

I personally didn't renew this season. Got the usual courtesy call from them in November followed by an email encouraging me to and and included a link.

If the season ends up a dud, as it's unfortunately looking likely to be, then maybe many more will not.

I grew up with Man United winning the league all the time. It kinda got easier. I wasn't alive when we were better though so I didn't have to experienced being overtaken. Don't know how I'd feel if Everton won the league before we do!

Doubt anything will make it easier for you if they win the thing.

One of our close friends is already dreading this like hell. She's a Gooner, her husband and eldest son are die-hard Spurs fan!

It feels like I'm in the middle of a nightmare. You never know which Arsenal will turn up, its ridiculous.
We've thrown away our best chance of a trophy
I feel a strange mix of anger and deja vu, almost like I dont care anymore. The two cups were false dawns. For such a long time, all we've known is disappointment, sadness and frustration. Its like 2012 all over again, and 2011, 2010, 2009.... remember Bradford, and the League Cup defeat in 2011?
We keep seeing the same shit. Any more of this and Ozil and Alexis will leave.
