At this point I barely think it matters. A change is simply needed.

I don't support Arsenal but looking at the bookies, Ronald Koeman is 3rd fav and his contract at Southampton expires after next season.
Worth a punt.

Barcelona with the cigars on Wednesday evening. Plucky Arsenal take a 1-0 lead but ultimately heroically fail.
Everybody Walking In A Wenger Wonderland again after the game.

That will be how it goes, mark my words

33/1 shot so put £50 on it if you are sure. How Arsenal didn't get a replay today I don't know.

More seriously, I'm no fan of Wally Walcott, he's lightweight and endlessly failing to deliver on his initial promise, he's also racing towards 30 so it won't be too long before his pace goes. And then what has he got?

BUT

He scored twice in midweek, and as another of our frail little butterflies who relies massively on ego and confidence, his would have been sky high coming into today.
And he gets benched. Shocking management.

Also why is the bang average Gibbs now keeping our most consistent outfield player of the season out of the team?

No thanks
Though I'm probably bias as I really hate how he sets his Saints team up against Arsenal with usually profitable returns.
Could we nab Pochettino? (And Kane while we're at it )

Not in the slightest.

We win it 2-1 or 7-0 we will finish 4th
We draw it 1-1 or 7-7 we will finish 4th
We lose it 2-1 or 7-0 we will finish 4th
We throw away a five goal lead in injury time, we will still finish 4th
We come back from 6-0 down to nick it 7-6 in the last second, it won't provide the impetus to do anything but finish 4th.
We suffer season ending injuries to Sanchez, Campbell, Ozil, Bellerin, Cech, and about 10 others and have to play Gabriel up front, we'll finish 4th.

So it isn't remotely important. Absolutely nothing that happens in the match will have any effect on anything whatsoever, other than finishing 4th.

They'll be a refereeing controversy too and an unfortunate red card. That's another staple fixture for the March bingo.

Agree with Cissy, re Everton fixture.

This team will always let you down.

Have a look at their April fixtures.

If they win the league then fair fecks to them, but they are bound to drop points. Problem is this Arsenal side don't look capable of capitalising.

True, it's a win win for the Club no matter what, the money keeps rolling in - bollocks to the trophies.

Beating the worst team in the league does not mean they will win the league. It is Lecisters to lose.

Did not see that match, and with Watford being off form and utd not been great it would be hard to judge off on one game.

i think this lot got arrogant and only turned up when it was too late. I guess this year is a year of the underdog. Everton, Palace, Watford, west ham/ utd could win it and Lecister the league. Charity sheild will be interesting.

Yep so with him saying we can not compete finacially says it all. It shows they are happy just being where they are, it is a safety net for them.

He gave it some hammer with that second goal. Only Sanchez is capable of something like that. Typical BFG turning his back on it. Just watching the first goal on MOTD...prob the worst goal we have conceded this season. I've seen better defending from pub teams. What the f do they do in training? Why isn't Bould drilling them? We are a joke at times.

Why don't we play 4-4-2 at home against teams sitting back? 4-5-1 no matter what all the time. Why?!

How much do you think Arsenal have missed Cazorla this season as he is one of those players that can win a game with a great pass

I don't know what to do, just so ****ing annoyed Do I pretend its 2012 or so? Of course it would be insanely arrogant to assume we have a design right to win a trophy, but with those two back to back wins came expectations, and we failed to deliver. Is it that manager or players? I would at first argue a combination of both, but then again, AW is the one who picks the team and the same shite happens every year
Fair play to Watford, but so ****ing annoyed and depressed

For me it's the manager. He's been the common denominator in it all. We have mostly good players but they are too comfortable with it all. Wishy washy tactics. The obsession with passing it to death. The reluctance to shoot and so on. Starting games slowly. The same defensive mistakes. Unwilling to change things around. Being reactive rather than proactive. Dithering in the transfer market. Being too loyal to certain players.

We need a change. The football is boring. Lesser teams know how to beat us. I am resigned to the fact that Wenger will be here next season but I really really hope it's his last one. New players will come in but I still see the same style of play and same mistakes being made.

Just hope Leicester win tonight too!

I have to agree about the players. We have a more than decent team, but they just seem to have given up, and not just this season either. As you know in our own working lives, if you have someone at the top who doesn't inspire the workforce, inevitably apathy sets in. This isn't only Wengers fault, the Club as a whole don't seem to have any ambition and just want to settle for top 4 every year.

I know people talk about the players themselves standing up to be counted or playing for the shirt - unfortunately it just doesn't happen, and with no leaders on or off the pitch (or the men upstairs showing no ambition) they just seem to be just going through the motions.

Will Ozil or Sanchez still want to stay next season?
