Of course, as one of the highest paid managers in the league, it's only fair to expect him to make the right decisions. Last year in the final, it was clear that he had not set up or motivated the team correctly.

Money talks. Some of us have been saying that for years.
Until a couple of years ago we were not in a position to spend £40m on a player. Now we are - and I believe in the coming years, some of our fans will be eating humble pie.”
It's not like there were no funds available during the lean years without any trophies. It's more a case of spending it badly and he is still doing it to a degree. Had Giroud not been injured last year just before the end of the transfer deadline, Wellbeck almost certainly wouldn't have been bought. In a way, it was lucky in terms of timing, as it would have left us very bare (again) during the remainder of the season.
Most, if not all fans would be more than happy to 'eat humble pie' if it means that Arsenal finally starts to win trophies and compete in a meaningful way, although questions still have to be asked when we drop points at home to the likes of Sunderland, Hull, Spuds and Swansea and still can't seem to get results against our title rivals apart from the odd game.
It's looking better now, but I feel that he still has a lot to prove. Two FA Cup wins in a row is a good start, but no more. The proof will be in the summer and I look forward to getting some quality additions/replacements and for the squad to be cleared of some dead wood. We have one of the highest wage wage bills in the EPL (and in world sports for that matter), so it would be good to try and reduce that or at the very least spend it more wisely.
