Every year when we go out of the Champions league at the same stage the glorious lose seems to be enough for Wenger to justify staying on. It's the same this year he feels they played well enough so it strengthens him to feel his team is progressing.

And yes the fans around where he sits are all really unhappy - old Gooners the lot of them. My eldest gave his up a few years ago as he's now got a mortgage to pay. I was a regular and pasionate attender throughout the Graham years, Rioch year and early Wenger years. I had a mortgage until very recently so was not able to go so often. The last 4 Graham league seasons were mostly poor fare. We haven't yet returned to these days either of boring football or low league positions luke 5th 8th and 28th.

The trouble is though, unlike Fergie, he's staying longer than he should. You have to decide that's it I'm going & pass the torch to someone else.

I like Wenger but now is the time to call it a day.”

Not for a decade. Is the bad now starting to outweigh the good?

I'm sure there's a period in all our lives (unless you've got money to burn) where we've all had to give up going for a while, mortgages, kids etc. I used to go back in the late 70's, then stopped for almost 20 years until I met Mr S and then started again, albeit both of us didn't go that regularly then because of the aforementioned reasons. It's very expensive nowadays, Mr Sats ST is well over £1,000 per year, so it's no surprise the supporters are pissed off, I think we have a right to question the manager and the Board.

Onto today, Everton will be a difficult game, they're not that easy to break down - plus they'll have their tails up on the back of their FA Cup win.

We must be on the lowest amount of pens this season. We haven't had any at home in the league.

Nice goal from Iwobi.

We're playing well again = no pressure time.

Of course this is far from over......just waiting for the usual brain fart from one of our players.

Should be 3-0 up really. Stonewall penalty. It's only because Sanchez is so honest still trying to get the ball after being fouled that he doesn't get it.

Not surprised as its Clattenberg.

Iwobi has brought us good balance. Sanchez suits the right better and Iwobi keeps possession well.

Everton can't be any worse as the game goes on. But Arsenal should be stronger.

So impressed with Iwobi. Wenger has rightly freshened up the team, which does help dealing with pressure.

Yes the pressure is off a bit. That said, if we see this out then it does put a little pressure on those above us too.

Yes, all we can do now is to put away what's in front of us each match and see where we end up.

Iwobi's been excellent!

Yes we were robbed. I hope the team shows no mercy in 2nd half.

Luckily, they need the points and have shown that they're no mugs in spite of being woeful for a long time now. Time for them to get going again!
