AW has no doubt he will be managing AFC next season and believes his best is good enough for the club.

Yay!

No surprise there then

Agreed, I will be disappointed if we go for him. Much better mobile strikers out there.

He will probably go Leicester.

True. We need Lukaku at whatever cost.

Well I suppose we'll have to agree to disagree. I think we are better than that. The reputation of the club is far more important than speculating on a brief period of success with a nasty piece of work like Mourinho.
I would beg to differ. We did challenge for the title in 2008, 2010, 2011 and again in 2013-14 and also this season. Granted things did not go as we would have liked.

He seems like a decent player, reminds me of Jack Wilshere a bit, although is less injury prone of course.
Give it time. We'll soon change that.

Theo spurned some more chances tonight. He really is going downhill fast at the moment and difficult to see how he will get back to any sort of decent level.

Don't worry, he'll start picking his game up again around contract renewal time...he always does. Just glad these games are over with now..back to proper football. Should get rid of international games completely. I doubt the players give a monkeys about them anyway and they seem just an excuse to cause even more unecersarry injury.

I wonder if he'll get in the England squad for the Euros.

Vardy
Kane
Rooney
Sturridge
Wellbeck
Berahino
Walcott

How many will Hodgson take? Five maybe? Vardy and Kane are a shoe-in. So is Rooney if he gets fit. I would take Wellbeck too as he gives more options. That leaves one place to be fought out between Walcott, Berahino and Sturridge.

Sturridge all day for me out of those three.

I'm fed up with Walcott -hopefully City or someone of their ilk will offer us silly money for him in the summer and he can go the same way as Nasri.

Walcott is woefully off form seeing as he is not playing for a contract.

Injuries, being inconsistent and possibly one-dimensional will cost him a seat to France imo.

http://www.skysports.com/football/ne...r-granit-xhaka can't say I know anything about him but it seems he's no stranger to a red card so will fit in!
Blind saying deal is close to completion.

Can't see Walcott making the squad for the Euros, he hasn't performed at all this season. I like him but he hasn't done anything this season that would justify being picked and there are better options for England.

Roy seems to like him though, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if he picks him.

Roy like other England managers just pick on name and name alone. Watch how Wilshere gets in.

Wilshere has proved his worth for England though even if he has been injured. Also has attributes and passing ability the other English midfielders don't have.

Walcott hasn't.

Vardy has to go on current form IMO, Rooney may be our greatest goalscorer but he has yet to really prove himself in tournaments. 2004 was 12 years ago.

Anyone who played in the Gerrard/Lampard era deserves some latitude.

According to "AFCAMDEN" on Twitter, Mesut Ozil has "verbally agreed a new long term contract at Arsenal. Formalities to complete" Good news if true.

Just been reading about the latest exploits of Comedy Eboue.
Had no idea he was back in the country - albeit very briefly it seems

Bless him.

"The worst thing in life is to have wrong beliefs. You have to make sure you give absolutely your best, and at the end accept if somebody is better than you." - Wenger

We've got used to accepting that for about a decade now. Shame we don't have a manager with ambition.

Ozil will go if Aw is still here. I am starting to believe this is true.
