Ramsey coming off. You'd think it would be Theo coming on as Ramsey's playing on the right but no it's Wilshere on.

Typical Jack. On the end of another crunching challenge after a dribble.

That was before Hull scored. Now we have to score 3 more to go second.

Decent win. Shame we couldn't put Hull to the sword though.

I'm sure Alexis will get his first Arsenal hattrick sooner rather than later

Very good performance though Sanchez was going to run riot goal scoring wise .

Interestingly finishing 4th last year with 79 Points breaking 80 will probably be enough for 2nd.

It getting the extra five or six points to get closer to the title next season is the challenge.

Big game results have been much better this season but they need to be even better next season to get closer, which needs to involve beating Chelsea

A decent win against a resurgent Hull. There will be need to be a catastrophic set of results not to get top 3 now. Is it only 4th place that needs to play the CL qualifiers?

Yes stays that way unless England's representation is cut to three, CL Qualifiers in the play off round may well include beiktas, Ajax and panathinikos

Finishing 2nd would be nice kudos-wise, but it doesn't really matter if we come 3rd in terms of next season.

An interesting stat, that's now 14 games on the bounce we haven't conceded a first half goal in the Prem.

Another naff CL season for English clubs and we'll drop to 3 places anyway.

Think only league winners from PL will be seeds at group stage in CL from next season so we could be facing a giant right from the off. I still want us to get 2nd even if we'll be loads of points away from the Russian club.

Hope the mumurs of Wenger saying we don't need players aren't true. Chelsea were close last season and went out and got 4 top class players (Costa, Cesc, Matic, Courtois). We need to do something similar as Chelsea will no doubt strengthen over the summer.

Absolutely but it would be Wenger all over to not strengthen enough.
We've had a fantastic few months but never at any stage have we threatened to win the league so we need to get better.
Players like Mertesacker, Ospina, Welbeck could all be improved upon and I don't want to see Flamini, Diaby etc getting sympathy contracts.

In today's Metro; Africas richest man Aliko Dangote with an estimated fortune of £10.4 billion has revealed he wants to buy Arsenal. He seems very determined and wants Arsenal to change their style of play.

The whole club? I thought he just wanted to buy a stake in it.
Looking at the league, third is pretty much garanteed (sp?) especially if we win the next game or even draw.
I reckon Sanchez will break 25 goals for the season, though its unlikely beat the all time record for a debut season (31 goals). Still an incredible player.

City walloping QPR 6-0 doesnt matter to us in the grand scheme of things, but it means we have to win 3 out of 4 games (I think) to finish 2nd.

10 from 12 points will secure 2nd spot no matter what. Swansea will be tricky. We scraped a draw at home against them last season so need to be on our game. A win will virtually guarantee top 3 with Sunderland and WBA to play at home. Just don't get beat at Old Trafford next week, and even if we do get beat then it's not a disaster in terms of finishing top 3 (as long as we beat the above teams) but really don't want to lose again there in the league.

Utd will want to beat us after the FA cup, make no mistake, so that'll be a really tough match. We never play well when the pressure is on. Maybe Wenger would be happy to just settle for 4th and having to go through the play offs, but for once it'd be nice not to have to.

Agree with Hayden, we really need to continue to strengthen our team, but I wouldn't count on it with Wenger at the helm. If we get 2nd and win the Cup, he'll see it as job done and will say our team is fine as it is.
