I'm not defending Wenger here but Gabriel would need time to adapt to the PL and also learn some English etc

On the other hand Alexis didnt speak English when he came (AFAIK) and had a barnstorming first season so who knows

I understand the language thing but defending is defending whatever the country or league it is. No he's not going to come out and say he's crap but I don't know, it's this mollycoddling I can't be doing with. He plays well in training...hurrah.

somehow the fans have to make it clear that next season is Wenger's last and his contract won't be renewed. Expecting him to leave of his own accord (he'd never be fired) this summer is unrealistic in the extreme.
He's killed my interest in Arsenal, something I never thought possible.
4th place here we come.

It seems that we'll be stuck with ODL for at least another season, with a similar approach to the last decade and a bit. All that we can realistically hope for is that we show a little bit of ambition and add one quality signing and get rid of some deadwood so at least the squad can limp into 4th so that whoever takes over will have a good squad to start with and a large transfer kitty.

At least 10,000 empty seats expected today and against West Brom.

More WOBs than ever.

It's a sad state of affairs really, but they'll probably still list it as a full house anyway as all tickets are paid for. Says it all really, revenue over ambition etc... Hopefully there will be a few banners telling him thanks for the memories. He's in serious danger of tarnishing his own legacy.

We'll probably hammer them today now that the pressure's off. Hopefully Cech's back, can do with the points in my fantasy footy!

Zelalem scored the winning pen for Rangers, cool as a cucumber.

Or just people sick and tired over watching another season with NO silverware.

Leicester losing, which lets Spurs back in it.

Really think had we not lost to Swansea and drew last weekend, we could've exploited.

If they win tomorrow they'll only be 4 points behind.

If only we had a better manager we might have been closer.

EDIT: Leicester battle for a point. Good on them. Don't want Spurs getting ideas

Leicester play with "blood, heart and soul" according to Ranieri.

Unlike the "character" we show week in week out according to Wenger.

A game we could have gone 4-4-2 but resort to the usual predictable formation.

FFS!

Reminds me of the West Ham goal on the opening day of the season that Cech should have saved.

Agreed, but we shouldn't have been in a situation where one goal makes a difference.

I think Wenger's time is up but he cannot ALWAYS be blamed. Arsenal have been all over Palace - that was one of the most undeserved equalisers this season has seen.

Maybe finishing fifth is the jolt the club needs? Top four, ambling along, not really bothering outside that. Suddenly not being in the top four might wake the board up.
