He is the manager. This KEEPS happening whatever the side is. Everyone on this thread knew full well this was coming. He is fully to blame.

He is gone the moment the fans turn on him but probably not before given our spineless board. However the mood is very definitely shifting and I think his days are limited now.

Yeah, we've seen this happen too many times for it to be a one-off. We just don't seem to have that killer instinct in us, and that has come due to managerial decisions. He's had time to sort this out, yet it happens again and again.

Team is on their holidays. They know the top 4 job is done and the title is over. Not sure why people believed we would win this game.

Agreed. I wouldn't mind 5th place if it meant real change.

Too many points dropped against struggling sides. Changes HAVE to be made.

But this happens all the bloody time.

Dominate, yet fail to close the game.

Pathetic.

Nah not his fault the keeper cocked it up. As much as i am tempted to blame him.

Won't happen Sotek, this time next year he'll still be in charge.

It was Cech who mucked up, not Wenger. How many games have Leicester won 1-0? All he had to do was make a regulation save and he couldn't manage that.

As I said, I think Wenger should go but I don't think the blame should be laid at him today.

At this rate the Top 4 isnt done. We still need 4 more wins. City and even Man Utd could finish above us and theyve been pants.

Pissed off TBH

"Arsene is accountable to the fans - they ultimately make judgement. If you are seeing the relationship between the fans and the manager break down, over time that is unsustainable."

I admit I wasn't exactly surprised but surely a goalkeeper who's paid an absolute fortune should be saving that? If he had we would've won. Sometimes I think the players are getting away with murder and glad that Wengers taking the flak. Still maybe with another manager they wouidn't be on easy street in the first place...

Cech's interview was pathetic - almost trying to push the blame onto not scoring a second. I'm sorry but sometimes teams HAVE to win 1-0. Regulation save and three points would have been in the bag; credit to him for coming out but not for desperately trying to pass the buck.

Exactly what Alan Smith just said. Nothing left to play for. Player's minds are already on holiday.

Seriously, if I were a paying customer I would demand a refund. Same story, retold.

Who the hell would want to pay season tickets to watch the same guff every year?

Wenger needs to go. He isn't going to rip up the squad and start afresh, so the players need a shouting to by someone else.

He isn't willing to try anything new or daring, it's all very predictable. If he comes across a solution and it works, he'll use it - that's how bad things are.

The club is run by money, for money so a top four place is imperative. Anyone with an ounce of ambition would not join Arsenal.

This club needs a complete change.

Interesting that Smith was quite dismissive about the top four from the players point of view considering it's all the manager and board have given a damn about over the past few seasons.

His manager has taught him well.

Were Wenger's substitutions tactical or like for like as usual?

15 mins left, you hold on to the 1-0 by making defensive subs not bring on Giroud and Ramsey. Wenger would have only done this against a bigger team showing how he underestimated Palace, something Leicester dont do.
