I feel had Guardiola not agreed to go to City, or that Klopp was still on his sabbatical, Wenger would just walk away come May.

Seriously, I don't think Wenger would be all too concerned about missing on the league. It's the football he will be worried about. Very slow, laboured, not as incisive as before. Very dull to watch, can't defend or attack with conviction.
This is what happens when a club is run for money instead of glory. This team know how to finish in the top four, that's it. It's not a team built to win trophies.
