I wouldn't go that far. Yeah I would take him at Arsenal but I've certainly not been dreaming of him, have you? There are better strikers out there, he was just the cheap option. I also don't think we should be putting much on the fact that he won the Conference Premier. Bravo and all that but it's like 4 leagues down!

I actually can't believe he hasn't made a decision yet - which leads me to think he'll be staying put. Bad move IMO, he's not getting any younger and Leicester won't get any better. This is it. Next summer he'll be 30 and it's highly unlikely he'll repeat this season. Should take the chance while he can.

It's a very big decision though, and probably a genuinely tough call at the stage of his career that he is at. It hasn't been that long that it's been dragged out so far.

It's a massive decision for him. Pearson & Leicester gave him his chance to make it big; he knows that if he goes Leicester lose the core of the team because Kante & Mahrez will also find it a lot easier to leave once someone's made the first move. He's had the Leicester squad - all good mates let's not forget - urging him to stay, and there is a definite question of whether Arsenal would suit his style of play, and whether he fancies extended bench-warming duties.

I do wonder if his agent made the right call here. On balance he probably did as he has to give his client(s) the best options. Shame though. Arsenal fans are nowhere near unanimous, Leicester want him to stay, so do the fans. It's a big call, what's he got to gain by rushing it?

I've told you before vardy is world class. He's better than kane. I can't find the stats but I have no doubt he scored more from open play, as kane grabs all the pens. Vardy was robbed when moss sent him off. It was no dive. Kane even nicked his pen for England.

Papers saying Chelsea about to sort a £40m deal for Morata before the Euros. I really think Morata would do so well at Arsenal, but twice as expensive as Vardy is never going to appeal to Wenger. I don't know why everyone is so big on Morata. He's a good player but look at his goalscoring record. It's nothing special. I know he hasn't been around that long but he's never even reached double figures in a league season before. £40 million is way over the odds for him considering Giroud is good for about 15 a season in the league.

A bit of public humiliation if he does reject us. Bu would suit all parties, he gets to be the Leicester hero who turned down the big boys, Wenger gets to look like he 'tried' to sign someone and that it's not his fault that we didn't sign another striker and are forced to rely on Giroud and Sanogo for next season.

I hope (although highly unlikely) that we have taken the initiative and have a back up lined up to sign asap, and hopefully this one will be a big step up from Giroud, Vardy is probably better but not by a huge margin.

can't believe that anyone who has watched Morata regularly thinks he's anything but a massively talented young player who is only going to get better.
The problem for him at Juve has been that Allegri only wants to play 1 up front, so chooses Mandzukic. Dybala would keep most players out of teams too - he's been dazzling.
So Morata's stats are as a sub. He was also injured for quite a long time last season.
Of all that are potentially available, I think he's the best fit.

If Vardy wanted to join then he would have said so by now. He's obviously been sounding out opinions from fellow pro's in the England camp. I'd say to him give us a decision one way or another by lunchtime Monday and stop dicking us about.
