Apparently they (Real) will listen to any offers for him though
Why buy him back to sell him?

there was a clause in his contract that they could buy him back for something like £25M and they think they can buy him back at that amount then get alot more on the open market

Despite an encouraging start I'm increasing thinking Wenger will fail to do what is needed before the season starts again. I can't say I'm surprised. |

£60m is being quoted this morning which means this is another one we're not going to be signing.

Shades of last season when we got Cech in early, then a whole bunch of bugger all. At least he seems to realise that we need another striker, so he may well be forced to act.

Haven't we signed that Nigerian fella (Kelichi or something?) but he can't actually join until he's 18?

Sanchez on target again and playing in the Copa America final! Hopefully he'll bring his form back to London.

Vardy staying at LCFC. Guess he was using us to get a new deal.(great news for us)
on to Lacazette and Batshuayi or even Lakaku. |

Vardy's agent obviously wanted the best deal for his client and himself. Vardy didn't like the idea of less game time, which probably swayed it in Leicester's favour.
He's not suited to Arsenal's system, but it shows Wenger is prepared to adjust his tactics. I'm not sure what this means now, think Morata is out of the question - United and Chelsea want him so no chance. |

Also I can't see why with our finances we can't break the bank for him. We will forever be in the big club's shadow if the club give up on signings just because other big clubs are also interested. |

Could have done with a comma, I suppose. I meant that he was on target that particular game, and that he will play in the final. Point re taking his form to England still stands

It's ridiculous the number of players who use Arsenal to get a better deal for themselves. I'll admit in the past many of Arsene's bargains have worked out. But in the last 5 years this has not been the case and has led to really average achievement.

Linked with Quincy Promes, pacy 24 yo Dutch winger with an eye for goal (31 goals in 58). May be a replacement for Walcott. Still the same old from ODL, telling that he'll not go into a bidding war with Spurs for him and that we're looking at one or two more players but that 'it's not easy' buying players...
