There is no way we'll finish above: Man Utd, Chelsea or Man City. We may scrape 4th - all depends on how Spurs, Leicester and Liverpool do. I think Spurs may have learned a lot from last season.

But there is every chance we will finish above one or at a push, two of those. And that's the problem, happy to do the bare minimum and not pushing on.
You don't win the league by winning the transfer market. We seem to get blinded by transfer fees, when it's just one aspect of football. Getting the team playing properly and making them tactically/mentally aware and flexible is another and that's Wenger's shortcoming. So what makes people think him signing a striker will solve everything when he's the master of moving players around????
If we don't win the league, Wenger
will be gone so I'm happy with that. It'll take two bad results for everyone to start moaning. There is no chance he'll be signing a new contract, unless he pulls off a massive transfer to quieten the fanbase, or wins the league or Champions League.
The problems with Arsenal sadly go deeper than the manager. A club not prepared to give themselves the best chance to succeed. Content with qualifying than doing. Always thinking about the future. If they aren't too careful they may just go the way of Liverpool in the early 90s, with backward ownership.
