Has he not found these players of have they rejected the club. I just do not think we are top draw for big players hence we do not sign them. I think so much goes on we really do not know about. Why would anyone play for us when they can play for a team who can guarentee a league title and Cl by the time their contract ends. Ambitious players will not vome to an unambitious club. This is why the only players we get are ones who perform to the level the club permits and do not push themselves for bettter.

Sanchez and Ozil will probs leave next season, infact we may see a few depatures tbh.

The manager for whatever reason has real issues when it comes to transfers. I mean incoming transfers. I do know it's not just about adding to the squad but how is it that other managers don't have the same problem? I don't mean the Man City's and Chelsea's but the middle tier clubs like Southampton, Stoke City etc manage to do their business before the new season starts. We are being handicapped by a manager like no other club. If he doesn't care for the high prices or agents and methods then he needs to leave and manage a national team or just retire, I don't care. It's not his money but he's treating it like it is. He puts his own spin on it as always to make it sound he's taking the moral high ground with his fancy sound bites. Trying to cover up his own deficiencies is the real reason.

I think giving our Euro stars time off is the silliest thing tbh. They should have played today even it was only a half etc. I mean if you know you wanna do your transfer business late, have your best team ready on match day 1. No way should Holding and Chambers be put in the spotlight like that.

Just do not understand how his mind works. Guess he prons thinking we will get injuries and this is away of keeping players fit.

Other clubs do their business easy because the players they go for know what the club us about. If you go to a Stoke, Palace or Everton you know you will finnish midtable most of the time. If you are a top player who you want to go to Arsenal? We are not a big draw as most think we are. If it was us not in the CL like Utd, big signings would not come. Had it not been for Cl the likes of Sanchez, Ozil etc would be nowhere near.

I guess depending on the next manager we will see what players will come. We will not suddenly splash big money on players cause AW leaves as Ivan says we can not competer etc.

Wenger needs to go, But lets get this straight it will not automatically solve the problem. It might help to fix it. The club is in a S##T from top to bottom. Until the top is sorted out not much will change imho.

When you have two shareholders fighting for power what happens to the running of the club? It gets run by people who should not. Until we get one overall owner with ambitions nothing will change.

There was a story that he balked at Wiltord's asking price and refused to pay up. Dein decided 'to hell with it' and pushed the deal through.

Then there was the time he identified Reyes, but needed 40-something scouting missions/reports before he greenlit the transfer.

He's ineffective without Dein. There's no-one holding him to account, no-one getting the business done, no-one who he can turn to for advice. And it's meant he's lost all perspective, he does everything but manage the team properly.

I don't know the ins and outs with Arsenal. So many unanswered questions. Is Wenger allowed to spend? Does he have a bonus clause in his contract for transfer profits? Why did the club leak info about Wenger's contract? What is Stan's true intentions?

I would be astounded if Wenger signs a new deal. Even before today's result, I have no confidence in this team winning anything meaningful. Not ambitious enough.

Yes I agree re Dein. I think he looks at any potential new players sell on value too. So he's not going to buy over the odds in his eyes if there is no or little re-sale value. I do believe he is allowed to spend. I get the restrictions placed on him when we moved to a new stadium but the money is there for him I reckon.

No it's not a priority right now but it's something that will need addressing sooner rather than later. He's a good keeper but he's past his best.

He knows what Arsene says goes, he knows he cannot do anything to change him and he knows full well that his dithering and indecision means further big transfers are unlikely. In that scenario you either say there are more than enough funds available and hang the manager out to dry ... or you come up with the limited resources rubbish to try and cover for your incompetent boss? That's how I read it; Ivan providing excuses for Arsene.

Stan is so far removed he doesnt care less what they do provided the club remains profitable.

Add me to the list on this one. I wouldn't go as far as calling him "Peter the Plank" like they do on some forums but he's a bit or a worry these days. He just seems t ave slowed down a lot and seems to go down in instalments these days.

I'm quite angry about the bit where he said some of the players couldn't last 90 minutes,. Why? didn't he now when the season started or something? There's zero excuse for that.

If that happened that would be an amazing Christmas gift. In a way I'm sad that after the amazing start that Wenger had with Arsenal, his career will end in utter failure. But on the other hand, he has brought this completely on himself with his naive tactics and lack of investment in the squad.

Not many positives, apart from the fact that I couldn't see the capitulation as I was watching another bunch of jokers/clowns at the Edinburgh Fest. Was annoyed when I saw the 1-0 scoreline that I was missing it, but after their equaliser, I soon realised that it would probably be business as usual.

Mustafi and Lacazette please ODL, the latter scored a hattrick over the weekend. He'd have been better than Walnut, I feel. Good to see him and Ox score though, big season for them.

I get that he didnt really have any choice (Per and Gabriel injured, Kos not ready yet), but Holding is very young and was starting his first PL game in at the deep end when he's only just joined, with someone he'd never played with before.

The players have no ****ing clue what to do without the ball. Time and time again he said he knows how to solve it.........but doesn't. I honestly think he just makes it up as he goes along, there is no real 'tactical' plan. When he actually makes an effort to set them up properly, they still manage to **** it up.......and he has the cheek to blame luck! Maybe he should put the same effort in throughout the season!

There's clearly some sort of power struggle going on at Arsenal. Wenger will not relinquish his position that easily. In the next few weeks be prepared for him to say 'you'll miss me when I'm gone' and 'do you know how much I've sacrificed for this club?' if results are really bad. Do the club want him to sign a new deal? I'm not so sure. Three years ago, certainly, now........Stan perhaps, but the board maybe not. People are starting to open their eyes.

Myles Palmer hits the nail on the head, club's next signing should've been Pep. Arsenal need freshening up regardless.

The board aren't backing Wenger in the transfer market or a contract extension and it seems players are rejecting Arsenal until a new manager is in place.

Saying that the Mustafi deal should be tied up by the end of the week and Lacazette seems open to a move after his hattrick in the weekend.

With Wenger in charge and say we miss out on the signings we need, it looks like another season we could write off really with all the other top teams strengthening.

Looking like 4th place is the best we can hope for with the current squad we have. A new manager to change things up couldn't come soon enough.
