Need to stop giving away the first goal. Xhaka not starting is baffling as he would have given us more physicality in midfield.
Koscielny had a poor game imo. Iwobi played well in the second half and is performing much better in comparison to the Ox who constantly loses the ball. |

We didn't play well at all so a 1-1 draw is a result, should have lost it really. Ospina was brilliant and justified his selection in the end, but not playing Xhaka was an error as he is such a physical presence.

I don't think we played as bad as the pundits were saying. I thought we played quite well in spells.
Thought Mustafi had a good game - as did Ospina, apart from one bad distribution that nearly cost us a goal. But he made some terrific saves, and should have got man of the match. PSG played very well I thought. As others have said, happy with the away draw. Have to say again - Oxlade Chamberlain. He is so frustrating for me. He is undoubtedly very talented, and last night showed bits and pieces of really good stuff. His power in acceleration over a few yards is good enough to leave most players in his wake, and he gets some good crosses in. He also made a few good defensive clearances and blocks. But he is probably the worst player I have seen for drifting in and out of a game. One minute he is there, and the next minute he's invisible. If he could get on top of that, he'd be a superb asset for us. Giroud got the ref's back up by continually verbally abusing him and questioning absolutely every decision. It wasn't going to take much for him to get another card. He has to learn to keep his mouth shut and get on with it. |

All in all, delighted with a point, we certainly didn't deserve it. Was surprised to see Ospina in goal but he more than justified his selection. Frustrating to see ODL play around with the formation again, it's pretty obvious that the likes of Xhaka and Giroud need to start as it brings out the best in the likes of Ozil and Sanchez. We shouldn't have to rest players at this stage, or be able to bring in players who at least allow us to play the same way week in week out. Perez is meant to be a striker, isn't he, so why isn't he rotating with Giroud?
Mustafi had an OK game, and I like his hunger with our corners. I expect to see quite a few more goals from him and Kos. Ox needs to go or step up. Iwobi's much sharper and dangerous. We'll need wins from our home games and if we get these, we should finish 1st in the group for a change. We may even get a round further this year, which is probably the level we're at. |

AOC won't leave until his contract is up. I think he should be dropped. Giving him a new contract is a terrible idea. He really just isn't good enough and never will be. I'd rather he'd been sent out on loan ( he might have refused?) than Campbell.
PSG aren't up there with the best sides in the CL yet gave us the run around. Cavani = cow's a*se, banjo job. Giroud is irritating me more and more. Interesting to hear the french fans going on about him in the Euros - they can't stand him. |

Is Coquelin the new Flamini? Leaves massive gaps in front of the defence when he goes chasing the ball.
The team looked better when Xhaka and Elneny were in midfield and cannot fathom why he persists with the Coq when his passing range is so poor. |

Yes, he should have pulled off Coq at half time.

ITV's football coverage is shit now
If you didnt want to know the result of a game (suppose you'd been avoiding it or didnt see it), youre screwed and they spoil it ![]() When Arsenal were introduced just now the commentator said "We look back on Arsenal's trip to Paris as Alexis Sanchez secured a precious point" FFS Imagine if MOTD did that.

It's prob because it was played a day before and they assume that everyone must know the result Grim. You would do well to avoid the result for 24 hours. I would be hacked off if they said it a couple of hours after the game and you wanted to watch the highlights not knowing the score/outcome which to be fair I don't think ITV do.

Was going to mention how poor Walcott's been... Ozil's been fairly quiet too.

Great goal from Xhaka and good win. Third win on the trot in the league.
Takes us up to 3rd in front of Liverpool I think. |
