Another of the uniformly excellent comprehensive deep dives into our financials from Swiss Ramble:

http://swissramble.blogspot.co.uk/20...sensation.html

It's worth noting that Kroenke took no money from the club this year, dropping the nominal £3m taken previously.

Love to know what The Ox has done to warrant being back in the England squad.

Seeing as Glen Johnson is also in the England squad, I think you merely have to be English and preferably breathing.

what's up with Perez - injured or dropped? He can play wide. Has to be a better option than Ox. Joel Campbell offered us more than Ox.

Injured apparently.

What a climax the other night! We deserved the win. That will give the players a real boost.

Wonder the reasoning behind dropping the fee. Maybe KSE were too busy to provide the valuable advice they have provided Arsenal in previous years?

Fan pressure and possible breach of regulations stopped Kroenke from taking another £3m out of the club http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/foo...-legality.html

Theo reverts to usual Theo form for England. Hopefully just because England aren't v good.

best home kit is the original one.

Sturridge and Henderson don't compare with the quality the likes of Sanchez and Cazorla provide. They actually know to look for his runs unlike the England team that don't play as a team or provide good passing combinations to open up space for Walcott to exploit.

Saying that he does need to vary his game as he did look one dimensional in the international games for England.

Theo just has no football brain. There's nothing spontaneous with him.

the worst Arse kit has to be that green and blue satin number from the early 80s, either that or the paint explosion yellow kit

I absolutely hated that green and blue kit. Couldn't sing, "She wore a yellow ribbon" with that one. I always think that our red and white home, and our yellow and blue away kits should never change their colours. I do accept the one season change for our last season at Highbury, which was understandable and didn't look bad.

I hated the last kit at Highbury, Redcurrant or whatever it was. Home kit should always be bright red.

I accepted it as a one year commemoration/celebration of our leaving Highbury. It was, apparently, the colour we wore when we first came to Highbury. However, there is some dispute to this, some feeling it was just a marketing exercise. I didn't think it was too bad, but wouldn't have wanted it beyond that year.

I really wish we'd just stick with red and white home, and yellow and blue away. Maybe I'm just getting old...

I quite liked the white away kit.

Santi wants to sign a new contract, not leave. But Wenger hasn't offered him one. I'll be really upset and baffled if he's let go. I can't understand why he's not being offered one, as he is clearly a first choice in our (better performing) team. I understand that they are focusing strongly on Ozil and Sanchez, but seems crazy to ignore Santi, unless he's no longer wanted.

^^^ Agreed. He was a big reason why we faltered last season when he had his long term injury.

That first half sums up this club. In total control yet somehow grateful to be gong in to the break still ahead. How many more times will we concede daft goals?

Odds on 3-3?

Le hmm...

Down to ten men and defending a 3-2 lead. Should have wrapped this one up by now.

Pretty typical of us in recent years.

Hopefully we'll see it out. With City drawing and Spuds losing, it would be a good day for us.

Update: Spuds equalised, Swans are having some opportunities.

Swansea somehow look even worse now youre down to 10 men. They look odds on for relegation with this form. Anyway how did they score 2 goals ??
