A tad bit offensive from you there.

Giroud earning his paycheque! Why sanchez wasn't given a pen, I'll never know...

We have options. Couldn't say that years ago. Giroud on the bench, Sanchez to stretch teams, Perez.............

All depends on form and fitness but this squad is certainly good enough to win the league.

It is a bit yes, but also wrong in the first place. He got it right, after all!

It would be nice to see us become more ruthless lime this in future. Far too often we don't kill teams off.

Moyes won't be long in the Sunderland job now. Not just losing but totally lacking in motivation and application.

Not sure we will see a worse team than Sunderland all season tbh. Awful.

I kind of feel sorry for them. Allowing them to score even seems like a disaster.

They need something to change quickly. There were no positives at all for them today. They need a manager in place for more than five minutes but Moyes won't be there long with displays like that.

Squad depth comes through. Glad we put them to the sword. Wonder if we will see Xhaka start in the midweek CL game.

Looking in good shape for the NLD next Sunday. COYG.

Lol, I was joking too dude. Good to see us battling for the win, Sunderland's poor but it's the type of game we'd have lost points in after a bad decision or two in the past.

Agreed, it was exactly the sort of game we'd have ended up 1-1 not so long ago. Good to see the Ox finding some form too. Now for November!

As I in no way own this thread and I just want to have good debates with my fellow fans I will not this time be reporting David T to the moderators*.

Anyways, back on point, despite my better judgement I'm getting optimistic about this team.
Probably wise to see how we come out at the end of November though - usually a month where the wheels fall off big time.

* I will really.

We'll probably know more about the team after the next two games against Spurs and Man U. If we navigate those games OK then I think we're well in the title race.

Today's game though was a lovely boost to our goal difference!

Shame about City but a couple of decent other results for us today. Thought Utd was a home banker.
