Charlie Adam at it again with another stamp this time on Alexis. FA need to act.

Poor first half. Only started playing in the last 10 mins really. Bellerin playing really well. Not sure what Coquelin brings to the team at home. Keeps slowing down the play and passing backwards.

Also Lee Mason is one of the worst refs in the league. Stop start with the whistle and he hasn't carded their ref even though he's intentionally wasting time at every goal kick.

Need to step it up in the second half.
Didn't realise Stoke had their own personal ref.

That's really bad, action needs to be taken.

Pleased with the win today, we're on a good run atm. Hope it continues.

Yep. Where are the moaners? Upset that we're on a good run I suppose.

Top of the league. Top of the CL group. Not much to moan about.
Stop trolling.
It's all looking very promising, but anyone with half a brain cell will know it's been false dawn after false dawn in the last 10 years and will be keeping their excitement abated for now.
There is no doubt however that this is the best and most mentally strong first team we've had in recent years and there is finally some strength in depth on the bench too.
So providing we have some luck with injuries (Yeah, I know!) to keep dross like Jenkinson well away from the first XI then maybe just maybe....

Haha not sure what happened with the auto correct there as I'm sure I typed keeper . Mason might as well as been Stoke's ref as the decisions were mainly going for them.

Glad we stepped it up in the second half. We've been starting them well this season so Wenger must be saying something right at half time.

New contract for Arsene any time now I reckon. And rightly so. He's doing a marvellous job.

He's doing a much better job I agree.
And I'm sure he will get a new contract if he wants one- not sure he does though.
Think he might retire at the end of the season.

We're doing really well, much better than I thought. But anyone with half a brain cell would know it'd be best to wait before they start crowing. Keeping Ozil & Sanchez fit and firing on all cylinders is key.

I still think there's no chance Wenger is going anywhere soon.

Mustafi out for a minimum of three weeks. Huge miss for the trips to Everton and City coming up. Luckily Bellerin's back and playing well again, but I worry with a Gabriel/Kos partnership.

Plenty of silly stories in th gossip pages, including points deduction for Chelsea for their brawl at City, and Ozil to ManU with Lingard going the opposite direction. Could it be that the transfer window opens soon??

We're in fine form, but I have to agree with Wrighty that we need all players to show the dedication that Sanchez displays week in week out. The coming weeks will give us an idea of where we stand, two wins out of three and we'll stay up there.

ODL has been great (apart from the 1st game...), but let's wait with offering a new contract. Good statistic on MOTD that our subs have scored the most goals, so he's reacting well to the game. 2nd half performances have been much improved, so as anither FM already said, he hitting the right notes in the half time talks.

Ozil's been great, his goals will make a huge difference and I hope he'll continue unlike last season where he went off the boil towards the end.

Mark Chapman is a Spurs fan I think. That's why he was coy on whether he thought it was a stamp or not- wouldn't give his opinion either way. I liked how Matthew Upson asked him directly and brought the subject back to the stamp rather than the typical Arsenal fans moaning again line.

Arsene must be the envy of all other managers. Knocked out the last sixteen six times in a row, lose the title when it’s a gift wrapped present on a plate to Leicester of all teams, but four months of good form and it’s a marvellous job. No wonder he's never left the pressure and expectation somewhere else would be a culture shock.

We’re in good form and Sanchez is key to any potential success we have. The important moment will be the next time we lose a game and how we respond. Arsenal and Chelsea are the two form times at the moment but both will have a dip. Despite poor defeats Liverpool and man city will have good runs as the season goes on. Good spirits for now but a long way to go.

Agree with all of that.

Been some v good performances recently, Theo is doing well, Sanchez and Ozil are on fire.

Be interesting to see whether Giroud sticks around, he's clearly been dropped and despite some good performances when coming on he's obviously not a starter and we appear to want the pace up front (possibly why Vardy was a target). And with Welbeck back at some point he may have even less game time.

Xhaka for me is a great signing, strong committed and just the player we needed, any sign of a flare up and he's straight in to defend his team mates. V good passer too, think he'll be a v important player for us.

Has anyone seen much of Chambers whilst he's been with Boro??

oh no, not bloody Bayern again. Same old, same old. If we were going to get a tough draw, was hoping for RM.

City and Leicester can't be unhappy

I'd rather it be Bayern than Barcelona but the poorest perfoming team in the group stages got one of the best draws City vs Monaco. I think Arsenal can go through but I think Leicester will struggle against Seville, lovely time to be had there though so if I were a Leicester fan I would take a few days extra and not only enjoy Seville but the whole area, Malaga, Cadiz are quite close.

Think Wellbeck is back in training so may not be far away. as is BFG As well as Giroud I wonder abut Ramsey's future. We look better without him in the side. I think he was injured at the weekend though.

That'll decide the title for me. Leicester lost to Arsenal in stoppage time last year, but in their next game won I think in the 89th minute. Arsenal however slumped at OT.

Sanchez, Walcott, Ozil, Iwobi, Ox....all mobile players and it's a no brainer they would start. It's nice that Wenger's been more ruthless this season, last season Giroud went four months without scoring, but I don't think he'd keep on playing him if it were the case now.

Indeed. Would have loved RM as well. Best chance in ages to beat Bayern though. Squad wise we're in good shape and may even have Santi back by then.

Win or get knocked out has positives.

Quelle surprise!
The 'reward' for topping the table!
Anyway, based on our current form and erm...mental strength, beating Bayern should be doable. I don't follow their games but I don't think they are setting the world alight at the moment?

Oh well, so long as we properly turn up from the onset maybe, just maybe ....

Could have been even worse if we hadn't topped the group.
