No answer to Man City's constant pressure by Wenger.

It's the way our heads go down. Concede and everyone looks at everyone else. Don't remotely look like getting back in it at the moment.

what drives me nuts is when in the 1st half, we had total dominance, yet didn't seem fussed that it was only 1-0. One shot on target this whole game, Walcott's goal.

So tired of commentators saying Wenger must be absolutely furious as if he's got nothing to do with it

I think Arsenal are badly missing Mustafi in defence as you were more solid when he was playing

Wenger has his excuses lined up this week with offside decisions and penalties not given.

well, Mane was offside. The linesman flagged everything after that as if he knew he'd made a mistake. It did turn the game. But yes, it's a ready made excuse isn't it? We've been woeful 2nd half
Sanchez looks tired and a bit crocked?

Why do we always seem so lethargic? Everything is so laboured.

No drive, rubbish passing and an air of resignation.

Yes and no.

The gameplan for the big away trips seems to be containing, containing and containing. They never learn. Whenever they concede their heads drop.

I don't think Wenger has a clue how to manage these games anymore, nor does he put special emphasis on them.

No way are Arsenal winning the title, too passive. And I can't see Wenger staying put after May.

be more than nine soon I think. Battle for 4th is on.
Completely and utterly inept 2nd half.

Unfortunately my crystal ball says Wenger will sign a new contract and Sanchez won't.
Ozil, not so sure, seems to like London and possibly has fewer clubs chasing him.

Xmas: Chelsea, City, Liverpool, Arsenal. Between spurs and us for 4th

2 defeats on the trot. This one would have been easier to swallow had we beaten Everton.

Not good enough at the highest level.

capitulation. The team are pathetic when they do this (often). But we really do need a new manager who will not tolerate this. Do this to Conte or Klopp and see if you play next week.
Bet they all go home to their mansions and tweet about fighting back next time blah blah

I absolve Koscielny of any blame but the rest were utter garbage 2nd half

Very lazy side.

We'll finish in the top four, don't worry!

This is what happens when you have a manager for so long. Stale, predictable, no drive, very happy to mollycoddle.

It's criminal watching these professional footballers with so much technical ability succumb to the slightest bit of pressure in the 'big' away games.

Arsenal aren't winning the title, so why the hell should Wenger stay put? If he does it highlights how business matters more than progression on the pitch.

As for Ozil, if he wants a new contract, he'd have to bloody work for it. Tonight was another no show.

wasn't that the same vs Everton? We don't often have many shots on target or work the keeper. We are also total rubbish from corners, no idea why we don't practice them.
Think Cech might have done better for their 2nd goal though, although he says (I believe him) that Silva was interfering with his sightline.
Wenger will now say both their goals were dodgy. One of them was for sure.

Ozil looks knackered tbh. Sanchez had an awful 2nd half too. Fatigue is a big concern

Cech hasn't really performed brilliantly for a long time. I'm just really disappointed today. Oh and we're a bit tired too.
