Because it was an easy group and Cavani can't finish.
As for all those teams loving the idea of being in our position. Spurs maybe man united will aim to try and get ahead buts it Chelsea position they would love to be in. Liverpool and Chelsea are fine where they are.

Anyway in regards to our season in an earlier post I said the big test will be when we next lose. Arsenal then lost the next two games. Got a decent run of fixtures now and maximum points are needed to take advantage of any potential Chelsea slip up. Their winning run will end but I think it will be unlikely they will have a huge enough dip that will allow us back in.

of the top 6 clubs in the PL, we seem to be the only one not obsessed with football success. A lot of is said about Arsenal only being interested in the money. Other clubs are on the same revenue level or richer and their Boards are equally keen to bring lucrative dividends to their own pockets, but they insist on winning the league or change managers/players to give themselves a better shot at doing that.
When Wenger arrived, he had a crazy hunger to win the PL - despite our one failed CL final, his record in the CL is poor for a top level club manager. That level of desire seems to all have gone.
The only thing I see now is his anxiety about what on earth to do with his life if he's no longer at Arsenal. He clearly believes he 'is' the club.

Seems to be a lot of talk of Liverpool bidding for the Ox. Really don't think we should be selling to rivals although we've often done that in the past. Ox is a very talented but inconsistent player.

Klopp's described the rumour as 'nonsense'.

Kills that one then. Sky were running with it earlier I noticed.

story prob floated by Ox's agent. Hasn't he also got 18 months left on his contract and wants a new one? I'm still unconvinced by him, certainly not as a starter.

Interesting how well Gnabry is doing in Germany. Rumours that a bigger club might come in for him soon.

Hmmm... does he know something we don't on contracts?
I heard an interview with Sanchez saying that he wants to win us the title/a big trophy and is "really happy and comfortable" at the club.

How crap are Watford? Just a matter of how many Spurs want to score.

Were the Watford team out on the lash last night?!

No Ozil today.
Lucas finally gets a start.

Ozil injured or being rested? Just seen Wenger rather unconvincingly saying Iwobi will fulfil the Ozil role today

He can do. There have been as many no shows from Ozil as good games in 2016. Perez could do the same too. Fourth place is looking tight now, so we will win a lot more of the next batch of games than we will lose. Today could be tricky though.

Elneny starts ahead of Ramsey. Not sure why when Ozil is out and Big Sam's Palace will inevitably park the bus.

How the hell did Giroud miss that?

That's a bit special! He ran and everything as well, and he wasn't even off side, unlike some...

GOTS that.

But he isn't going to be the POTS sadly.
