Fair enough
I thought they already equalled it and were going for a record (14 wins?), but I may be wrong ![]() |

Expect cries of 'mind the gap' from the other part of north London any time soon.

Yes you are right. My mistake.
It would have been a record 14 consecutive wins in a single season for them, but we already had 14 consecutive wins, except that was over 2 seasons

Ramsey is selected for Wales. He spends more time on the field, looks sharper, and appears to be enjoying himself. Contributes more as well.
Wilshere goes on loan to Bournemouth. He spends more time on the field, looks sharper, and appears to be enjoying himself. Contributes more as well. I wonder if Wenger has noticed this, and has an explanation. |

Seems to be talk of a dressing room bust up involving Alexis after the game. Haven't seen the full details yet.

Hmmm. Dear Leader said the opposite (Arsenal.com) and that Sanchez was OK in the dressing room, he could see both sides of the argument as to why he was frustrated etc because he really wants to win, it's all fine

Coq out for 3/4 weeks, santi three months or more, walcott not back for the weekend. It would be a great shame to lose Sanchez, I hopw his and Ozil's futures are sorted out soon.
Good time to have a FA cup match and rest the likes of sanchez. He looks tired, give him a break to Dubai or something! |

Sanchez is right though, celebrating a draw at Bournemouth - if only all the players showed his drive & commitment.

As a Tottenham fan I wouldn't dream of saying that. I would confidently say Spurs will have a good run until Arsenal go on their usual winning run with about 8 games left once the mighty gunners are completely out of the title race and Arsenal will the probably finish one point above them. Ironically in 4trh place with Tottenham 5th............ Wenger will then claim another successful season. He IMHO follows the same pattern EVERY season has become so predictable. If I were an Arsenal fan I would want sooooooooooooo much more than 2 second rate cup victories in 12 years
21 years, 241 days, 20 hours and 48 minutes since you last finished above us. Suck it up big boy. |

Although you are the only team who could finish 3rd in a 2 horse race, it does pain me to say that you have improved as a team with a solid defence and ability to score goals. I think the gap between Spurs and Arsenal is definitely a lot narrower.
![]() in fairness Tottenham from February onwards were the only challengers to Leicester but the draw against yourselves and defeat against West Ham in the space of three days were the difference... As it stands I still expect Arsenal to finish above Tottenham simply because they ALWAYS DO....What may well make a difference this time is the relatively late return game for the derby. A Tottenham victory in that match and who knows.... |
