Pathetic.

Bring on Alexis and Theo pronto.

Don't forget West Ham were 2-0 up against the Romanians in the Europa League and they ended up drawing 2-2.

Maybe this will make Wenger make a bid for Benzema. It always takes a disaster for him to spend big.

Thought last week we played well with Theo up top, he brings back the lump of deadwood and there's no movement or pace.

If Benzema is available get him, stop being an arrogant fool, it's not your money so go spend it!!

Well there's always the FA Cup.

Not sure it will matter. It's the way we play as much as anything else.

The way we play wasn't a problem when van Persie was here.

Crikey, Sanchez on for Debuchy.

Like the old days this. Subbing defenders for attackers.

Wenger going for broke here. Coq and Debuchy off. Walcott and Sanchez on. Can see us conceding another.

He dragged us through really. The underlying problems were already there.

We need the first goal. Get that and some more will follow.

Either way, we won't start playing this season until around December time.

75 minutes played and we have had 3 shots on target.

Maybe a reality check was needed, but it doesn't get any easier because next week is Crystal Palace and I think that will be a tougher game than this one.

Ox played well and was probably our best player going forward in 1st half and wenger sticks him back to RB!

I still think Arsenal will win though, despite Palace's win yesterday

Ain't gonna happen. Too complacent? Don't know how to win ugly? Who knows! I felt we would be credible title challengers but deep down couldn't see us winning it. We need more than a keeper. Not convinced Benzema is the answer but think Wenger will step it up now and try to land him. You don't lose the title after one game but this is a shocking start to the campaign.

Will be an interesting presser with Wenger post match!

Pretty awful to watch. Expect to see plenty of this again this season.

I knew this would be a hard match. New manager, new ideas etc etc but didn't think we would get turned over. Same old same old from Wenger. Too many individuals and no team ethic. Sleep walking into games. Wenger moaning about the season starting a week too early. Welcome to the new season.
