Fear not because Welbeck is going to return from injury and show the same form he does for England and score 22 Premier League goals this season. He will be like a new signing.

She's not an Arsenal fan, so knows nothing about the club and being a supporter really, hence the ludicrous comment.
I'm not an Arsenal fan per se, but since my team is not even in England, Arsenal is the team I want to win the league. I like Wenger though, so maybe I don't fit in with the rest of you. Sanchez is currently my favourite player in the PL and one of my absolute favourites in the world. I very much want him and Arsenal to do well.

Wellbeck's had surgery on his knee and will be out 'for a period of months'.

Ubelievable Jeff!

Arsene knows best my ass...

What a load of ASS. Very shortsighted by Wenger.
Now we just have Giroud (and Own Goals) as CF

Simply incompetence. The board/Gazidis should have stepped in and just made a few realistic bids for Benzema/Cavani/Higuain.

If there wasn't going to be a protest at the next home game there surely will be one now.

And Walcott...

Maybe we're keeping the money in the bank to 'incentivise' Own Goals, our current top scorer.

Remember when Arsene was going to sort out our appalling injury record?

Wonder when he'll actually get around to it?

Honestly, when you think about it, the sheer number of areas on the playing side of the club being mismanaged is appalling.

Was Wellbeck this injured when he was at Man Utd? I can't remember him being out for this length of time.

I thought Walcott did better on the wings?
AW must be gambling on Joel Campbell, one things for sure, if Giroud gets injured or doesnt score 15-20 goals we f*cked AW knew Wellbeck was injured badly but doesnt say until the window has shut? He LIED

Yes, agree that Feo's far better drifting in from the right. Shame that ODL and he think didferently...

Forgot that Campbell's back from his loan, he may well play a few games. Maybe have the same impact as Coq did and surprise us...

Wenger signed another injury prone player. Welbeck has always had dodgy knees since his youth.

They were bound to have known about this prior to deadline day. It's almost as if they actually want to upset the fans.

The statement by the club actually said the decision was made last week!

It's not 'they' though, it's our arrogant fool of a manager.

Every
Single
Year

The team is always 2or 3 players short of making a real title challenge and the club/Wenger make excuses.

How people can still defend Arsene I don't know.

Has this been discussed. I was very surprised that Arsenal didn't try and take RVP back. Maybe Man U wouldn't have sold him, but it seemed a good possibility to me, for not much money. It was only recently he scored a wonder goal for Holland at the world cup.

(similar to Henri or Drogba returning)

RVP burned bridges with the club and left on bad terms, so no.
I hope the little boy inside him is happy about that.

He was such a fool to do that. It now ended his career prematurely.

Prematurely? He's 32 and past his prime, his career is over wherever he ended up. All that mattered to him was to get that PL medal which he never got at Arsenal (in fact he single handedly won the title for Utd). Even if he had remained in England, he would only be a bit part player.

Absolutely this.
RVP was hopeless last season or he'd still be at United.

People (who in the main aren't Arsenal fans) forget RVP was injured for a lot of his career at Arsenal. He only really came to the fore when he had that great season as Arsenal captain followed swiftly by his move to Utd. I seriously doubt even if he had stayed that extra year we would have won the title.

Maybe not but the challenge would have been a lot less pathetic.

Oxlade Chambarlain said he's been playing injured for about 2 years. I hope that's not a warning that he's going to out soon.

I'm a Crawley Town fan but I do feel for you guys this season. So much promise of winning the title this year, but with the lack of a decent striker I don't think you'll do it.

Everyone from pundits to fans knew that with a decent striker you could have really pushed on this season.
A shame because you finished last season like a house on fire.

3rd to 4th, not that much difference in the grand scheme of things for Arsenal.

Wenger is incapable of doing this. Might have been handy vs Liverpool.
