Might have been had it been on his left foot.

Good to see arsenal finishing above 4th and above Utd!!

Fingers crossed Man City get a bad result last day of the season and you can do even better and finish 2nd 🙏🏻

Well City would have to lose, and we'd have to win our last 2 games for that to happen.

Fingers crossed you can do it - would be nice to see a different name in second place this season

Made a big difference when Ramsey moved into the middle. Wilshere played well too when he came on I thought. We got lucky with the goal but you have to make your own luck in this game so not bothered by that.

I would be inclined to rest Sanchez until the final. Thought he was off the boil today. Would rest Ramsey also. We can't afford any injuries going into the final. Freshen things up a bit too.

Awful performance but a point is a good result all things considered. We've nearly secured third now, but we need to up our performances in preparation for the cup final.

Think Alexis should be rested a bit so he's fresh for the cup final. We dont want another brain fart like Birmingham (2011) not that I'm suggesting he'll be the one to do it...

Agree grimtales he needs a rest.
I would start Theo in the final & bring Jack on if midfielders start to fade.

Get 3rd done and dusted on Wednesday and he will rotate big time on Sunday. 2nd spot is a brucie bonus but no need to risk players in a dead rubber effectively.

Sunderland shouldn't be taken lightly as they only need a point to secure their prem status so they won't make it easy for us. These awful first half display's need addressing pdq!

Arsenal being coy about Sterling http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32793286

Bye bye Walcott I reckon. At least Sterling can go past players which is what we need.

Why would you need Sterling?

To be honest I've thought for quite a while that Sterling could end up at Arsenal. If he wants to go back to London then Arsenal would be fitting. I could also see Walcott going the other way.

I wouldn't be against that, but Sturridge has bagsy on our treatment table.

Great coup of we could bag Stirling but with Chelsa, City & Utd in for players it seems unlikely.

Surely we can compete with them now our finances are healthy especially if we're not burdened by FFP and being an attractive club for giving young players a chance let alone a London club unless he wants to leave for a bigger wage packet. My gut feeling is he just wants to be the best player he can be playing in the CL which also means being given playing time.

I'd be annoyed if we lost out to the rich clubs over these sorts of players now.

There's absolutely no chance that United will be in for Sterling. Players just don't move between those clubs.

I'd also be surprised to see Chelsea take an interest.
