Ospina is out so Cech will start.

Per is back but Arteta, Rosicky and Ramsey injured.

Expect to see

Cech
Debuchy - Chambers - Per - Gibbs
Bielik - Flamini
Reine Adeleide - Campbell - Iwobi
Giroud

Or maybe Ox but need him injury free whilst Ramsey is out.

Ospina was perfectly fine last season. He hasn't become unpickable on the strength of one ricket. Of course he should be playing in the League Cup if fit- which he isn't.
Don't disagree that he was perfectly fine last season, but he's been poor in both matches this season, I feel. That, the fact that Cech's awesome, and that I personally don't think rotating goalies is really not necessary is enough for me.

If I were ODL, I'd ask Cech what he wants but that would probably shatter Ospina's confidence even more.

Ah well, I don't know what I think anymore now!! Just play Cech until he's 40 or injured!!!!!

Does anyone know the stats about how many times David Seaman or Jens Lehmann were benched in place of the reserve keeper? I'm a bit less bothered about it for the League Cup, but the keeper should be a position of consistency. Unless Cech has a bad run of form or is clearly past his sell-by date, then he should play as many games as is reasonable. The defence does seem more confident when he plays, and that settles it for me.

Havent seen Bielik play yet, could be interesting.
What happened to that Vlad fella, is he in the under 16s/17s or something like that now?

don't think Wenger will make that many changes. Campbell is in and Per is now well, but not sure how many others will play. Chambers? Hopefully not at RB. Depends on how seriously he takes it as they're not a bad side and it's away.

Kamara starts instead of Bielik and the Ox instead of Reine-Adelaide.

Glen Kamara is a 19 year old Islandic DM who played 16 times for the under 21s last season. Let's see if first impressions of him are any good!

Ox is injured already I wouldn't have played him knowing he's injury prone and Ramsey is injured.

Theo comes on.

Christ, we've rested most of them and the regulars we do have are getting injured by the second!

Is Shad Forsthye on annual leave? Another muscle injury!

Our midfield looks pretty average now.

At least there's no replay. I will be well and truly gutted if either Per or Cech get injured now.

Unbelievable that Wenger would stop Theo warming up.

I'd forgotten all about Rosicky and Welbeck, shows you just how long they've been out.

Ouch - goal for them!

Not a surprise. Think Wenger will be happy to chuck this after the injuries.

I'd walk away right now before someone else gets crocked.

Just going to post that. Give them the win and clear off home while all our lads still have two legs attached.
