While I can see where you're coming from, I'd rather have Europa League instead of nothing, to be honest. It will be something that we can genuinely win. Progressing in Europe may force ODL's hand and dip into the Jan transfer market.
Agree that the whole CL campaign has been nothing short of a shambles! Poor selection in the first couple of games cost us dearly. We should win all our home games and at the very least get a draw in an away game, no matter who the opponents are.
Anyway, let's hope that we turn up on Sunday, we can now do with a positive result again. Our league form is excellent and we must keep it up if we want to challenge for the title. Man City has a seemingly easy game, although hopefully our friend Remy Garde and his villains can spoil their party.
