AIWA FX 5100 VCR - Remote Replacement ?
Does anyone know if any of those One For All Remotes could be compatible/made compatible with this old VCR, as the Rewind button on my remote has stopped working
Thanks. |

A long stick might help?
Seriously you could buy a programmable remote and put codes from universal remote as well as the original remote. Why do you need a second remote if original is OK anyway? |

perhaps it is time to move into 21st century and get a dvd recorder ir similar. you should try archiving any videos to dvd etc if you have video stuff you wnat to keep as tapes have a limited shelf life.

Glad you got it sorted. I'm still using tape too - it's just so intuitive and easy to use. I like to share what I record as well with friends - instead of telling them all about the great program that they missed I lend it to them with a smile. I have mine connected to a Freeview box and a DVD recorder for editing and convertion. https://www.dropbox.com/s/uqymtuc9z6..._0125.JPG?dl=0 is my setup.

![]() Why get rid of a video when it still works (actually got 3x of em), also got stuff on tape from years ago that still plays fine like said above, id only move from it if it ever broke, and couldn't be fixed. |
