Does anyone else here subscribe to NOW TV's Entertainment monthly pass?

We have it at home and I personally am quite disappointed in it, especially as it costs £7 a month (quite a jump up from £5 it started at).

I decided I would start watching Game of Thrones, and as it wasn't on Netflix or Amazon, I checked out Now TV and saw it was there, getting excited to start watching it, until I clicked on it to discover only season 5 was available!

I then saw the show Brickleberry which I wanted to start watching, went onto Series 1 and the first episode available is episode 7!

Ok, after that, decided to watch Bad Teacher, but oh wait, episode 1 isn't available!!

Whats the point in trying to start watching any new shows if the early episodes aren't even available?!

Does anyone know why its like this? Do Sky only have the rights for some shows for a couple of weeks or something?? Its really annoying I know that much!

Unlike Netflix, NOW TV is a mix of boxsets and catchup (like iPlayer). This results in shows currently airing live being available to watch again between 7 and 30 days. So with Game of Thrones you have a week before S5E1 goes and Brickleberry starts from S1E7.

If they follow the same plan they did last year, when they come to repeat Game of Thrones later in the year then all 5 series will be available, then it'll disappear again, and reappear again about two months before series 6 starts.

They seem to do this for all HBO shows, and it's a PITA if you're watching something from the beginning as you have to fire through them quickly. I completely gave up on Boardwalk Empire because of it.

Yeah, four seasons of GOT was available for a couple of months before the start of season 5. Unfortnately I was too busy to watch, then when I remembered it was going I had less than a week to watch a million episodes. Ended up just watching a few before starting S:5.
PITA if you ask me.
