It's like a mix of the BB11 and BB6 house. I like it.

What is 'scary' about it I wonder? And does the bathroom house a 'real' aquarium or is it just Channel 5 real-effect cheapo wallpaper? The bedroom looks the same as every other Channel 5 bedroom we've seen - and it has a 'make-up area' - oh stop with the luxuries already!”

The amount of bad editing and producer manipulation is what's scary.

Of course we will say the house is good, just hope they put in the right mix of housemates to go in there

Just a shame we can't admire the house properly apart from Launch Night when Ma Willis does the house tour, as we have hardly any live feed and only 45 minute highlight shows to work with

Fair enough if the house is supposed to be reminiscent of the 60's, but the design itself and colour scheme are awful. Surely the designers could have produced something better than this? The peach sofa with the wooden surround looks so cheap and they can't help themselves with the cloud wallpaper it seems - it has to feature somewhere! - I don't care if it is supposed to represent this year's Skypod or whatever it is

I'm not whingeing for the sake of it either, after initially being excited about seeing the pics I genuinely dislike the design this year and I'm somewhat disappointed. It's all very MDF and sticky-back plastic with the Channel 5 houses. Factor in your cheap-effect themed wallpaper and some garden accessories produced by the local Art college and there you have it.

I will be impressed if that's a real aquarium.
I wonder if Surly the BB:AUS puffer fish has swam over here?

Is that a Diary Room entrance door smack bang in the middle of the sofa area in the lounge?

This would be perfect for a return to the original nominations process when all had to be seated face-to-face until they were fully completed. I doubt that will happen though. The bitching booth or whatever it is being touted as this year looks as though it could be open-air as the clouds suggest?

I think it's possible that the wall behind the flames could hold a BBQ area, but this is Channel 5 BB so it is more likely to be hiding a jail, sex dungeon or even a boxing ring for the housemates to play in ..

Aren't you just loving the 'clouds' feature wallpaper in the garden?

The garden looks good.

Very clean and shapeful(?). Not sure what I think bb wise but it's niceish. Bit like a modern furniture store or something. Someone on Facebook commented on one of the photos saying 'Austin Powers vibe' I feel that.

Glad the diary room is back downstairs, been upstairs too long. Living area looks very tight, bedroom and bathroom way too luxurious, pool looks better and garden looks bright - still got that upstairs thing though, not a fan. Also glad that I couldn't see any wall of HM pictures, just a reminder of 'the game' imo.

Just hope the giant aquarium in the bathroom is real and not some picture or wallpaper. Fish would be a good addition.

I still think the BB14 house was my favourite effort from C5, but this is still a good house. After BB15, it's nice to see a bit of colour, character and a house with that BB feeling - which I think the house totally lacked last year.

I like that it is slightly smaller, but that the bedroom is bigger - it was much too small last year. The layout hasn't really changed, and I dislike how the stairs are still open, but I guess that's C5's thing now.

I like that the Diary Room is back integrated into the main house - for the first time since BB8! Overall I like I, but then the same has happened with every C5 house, and the minute the show goes live it is filled with tacky flashing lights and suddenly they are much less appealing!

I like that there's are huge windows in the lounge this year so you can see right out to the garden from the living area. Thats been missing the past few years.

The diary room and 'secret bedsit/garden/whatever' are going to be easily audible from the sofas

Looks pretty dangerous to me with all those unnecessary sharp corners...has anyone ever been injured in the pool before? (Except Mikey by the tennis ball )

If you have a look closer, the sofa is similar to the one in bb3.

Diary room hasn't been private for a while now and I can't see them making it soundproof

Like the pool and the circular sofa, plus the DR door next to it but not much else

I like the layout. Never been a fan of the interior decorator throwing up all over the place and over stylising everything but I'm guessing that has to do with the product placement. Don't they pick all the furnishings from Very?

The lack of privacy wasn't due to the proximity though, just that BB aired all the 'private' conversations. The last one or two have been at the top of the stairs!

This time they'll be able to listen in straight from the sofas - that's a first, isn't it?
