So is she a housemate or does she just "want" to be a housemate? I'm sure lots of people want to be housemates.

After reading her profile, I was expecting a right mess but she's kinda cute. For a CWAD anyway. Just quit with the Pammy Anderson look, while you're ahead.

She's outed herself so her chances of going in have significantly reduced

Besides the transgender thing has been done to death as Kellie Maloney, Nadia and Luke A have already been there and got the t-shirt

the transgender thing? three transgendered housemates means it's been done to death? ha e straight housemates been done to death to?

and to the poster above who called her a "CWAD", that is an awful, thing to say. so disrespectful.

Don't forget Sam Brodie too, though I suspect gender confusion was the least of his/her problems.
So, you're basically saying that transgender is just a novelty that BB has done so they don't need to bother with them anymore? We've not had a dwarf or a quadriplegic or a coma patient yet, so maybe this year. Ok, maybe Nadia was treated as a bit of a novelty but surely if a potentially good HM comes along, who happens to be trans, they're not going to turn them down.

Going to try and be diplomatic here before I land myself in a bigger pile of poo

I'm not against transgenders and never have been and if I have offended anyone with my last post in this thread, then I deeply apologise if any offence was caused

My problem with this is that the show will be reduced to being all about that transgendered HM, and hey will never be judged fairly or criticised as it will be wrongly seen as "Transphobia" and all the other HM's will be treated like they are extras on the Transgender show.

We've seen it all before and we know how this will end.

Seeing as Transgendered people make up such a small percentage of the population why are we seeing so many Transgendered people on this show? I think the BB producers are trying to get viewers and cause a stir with bringing Transgendered people in, and they cynically know that it will cause a lot of tabloid headlines.

At least I now know who will win now and can put my life savings on them....im going to be rich beyond my wildest dreams.

Perhaps that's who Rylan had in mind when he said "although we’ve got the typical stereotypes, they don’t fit the bracket they’re in. So, for example, a young, pretty girl might not be what she seems."

But they haven't had someone who transitioned from male to female who is a beautiful, young woman, or as Rylan may have put it, "a young, pretty girl". They haven't had a HM who challenges stereotypes in that way.

Oh god, who cares?

I want a fair (equal) line up of HM's...not a life story HM who will be favoured by the producers....such as Luke A, Nadia and Sam.

It's depressing to already know who this years winner is even before the show starts.

not again, do we really want someone's lifechoices rammed down our throats again.
lets have someone win who deserve it for being themelves rather than someone who comes along saying how hard their life is without getting the changes THEY want.

Since she's a beautiful young woman, she might well not win. She could even be first out.

(I don't think Luke A or Sam were very favoured by the producers, btw.)

They were certainly favoured by the BOTS show and Sam had such an easy ride from the producers in regards of tasks and how everything seemed to go his way.

Jackie Travers was favoured by BOTS. I don't think it has much significance.

Sam was so little seen for so much of the time that I don't think he'd have won if he'd faced any better competition in the final. Instead, Sam benefited from the "anyone but Gina or Dexter" vote.

Luke A also seemed to win largely as a least-worst option.
