With thanks to Score on the Ratings Thread for spotting this on Applause Store.

Semi Finals air Monday 25th May 2015 to Friday 29th May 2015 with no break.
Final airs on Sunday 31st May 2015.

Doors open at 6.45pm for every show which suggests a 7.30pm start time for the final as well.

Swear it's been on a Sunday loads of times before? X Factor final is always on a Sunday.

Stupid to have it on a Sunday in my opinion, guessing it will be because of the fooball, could have changed the date of final tho.

Anyone else dislike it that they have the semi finals in one week? Too much in my opinion where's The X Factor has it weekly

Yes Sat 30th May is the FA Cup Final. Kick off at 5:30pm so presuming it finished in normal time it would finish at approx 7:15/7:20pm but if it goes to extra time and penalties then would finish closer to 8:30pm therefore pushing back the times of the programmes that follow.

There would be no point putting BGT final on that day

It's usually Saturday. And X Factor has two episodes: the live show and the results show. BGT's final only has one.

You say no point but I say the opposite. Football could have boosted the ratings.

Not when the football is on bbc 1 and if it went to extra time or pens it would probably get higher ratings than bgt

I doubt the ko time, in terms of people travelling together, is a factor as there has been football at Wembley on the same day before. It is probably to do with it eating in to the BGT audience. It would probably have been 6/6, had it not been for the CL Final

Sunday is good for me as it's the most terminally boring night on TV (With some stiff competition!)

For me, that's Thursday. At least ITV put some form of light entertainment show on a Sunday.

That can't be done this time because ITV are showing the Champions League Final on June 6th.

I think a Sunday final will be good! Since everyone will be preparing for school/work the next day it could be something everyone can watch together!

The only thing is will that result in young children not being able to watch the final outcome as they'll be in bed?
