The Reapers definitely have the potential to return. I wish I was showrunner because I know exactly how I'd bring them back.
No need to create any CGI either, just take a short clip from fathers day and reuse it for a whole episode.

Not sure how that would fit into a episode about the Titanic....

Yes, it would feature the Reapers and the Titanic.

I would prefer a series with all new monsters and villians.

Careful. They'll get numb.

I would argue the media already objectifies women anyway and always has done. Why change something that works?
You're an actual idiot. Not long ago you were justifying child porn and now you're saying objectifying women is fine too. You're disgusting.

It's not that it's 'fine' as such, it's that so many media companies do it anyway. It's just the way the media works.

Surely you yourself have watched a TV show and thought 'Cor! That woman would look sexy in the shower!'?

"Just the way the media works", is basically you going "yeah, they do it, so it's fine." Just without you having to say it. And then saying "I'd cast X cos she's bang tidy (placing that BEFORE you say she's a good actor... or indeed saying it to begin with... is you clearly believing it's fine. That comment alone is you agreeing that it's fine. So yay for championing and objectifying women as sexual objects! How progressive. Just cos the media does it, doesn't make it right. In fact, that's why we should be more against the damn thing. You're totally clueless and, like I said, actually quite disgusting with some things you come out with.

More just the fact you said "cast X cos she's bang tidy" and then threw on "great actress" like an afterthought or as though a secondary comment. Disgusting. She looks great, she's pretty, all the rest, sure, but I wouldn't gunna go around saying "hey, I'd cast X cos she's bang tidy". Christ, DB. You're paying nine grand for education presumably - so get some.

It's hard not to objectify women. It's alright saying it's something that needs to be stopped but how do you stop? We all objectify women in our heads. Imagine how much harder it would be for a media company to stop given how widely its always been done.

Besides, male actors are objectified just as much as female ones currently but you don't get people complaining about that.

By not saying stuff like "I'd cast X cos she's bang tidy" for starters... by not saying and encouraging it.

It's not hard - try a little self control and have some respect for other people.

But who wouldn't if the actor was right for the role and didn't specifically require someone ugly?

I'm sure plenty of women would cast some male actor they find attractive.

Again, I'm not saying objectifying is fine but it's something that has been proven to work and if you were a TV/film company, you would risk losing a lot of your audience if you deliberately cast against that.

Wonder how many viewers watched Transformers because of Megan Fox?

Even our beloved Doctor Who does it. True, she still has a strong role but Jenna Coleman applies to being there for the male viewpoint as opposed to for someone for women to gaze at.

Surely it's showing more respect for other people by saying they're pretty online than if you said 'God, that actor is ugly'?

Dalekbuster, sometimes you need to accept when you're wrong or when you've said something daft and just stop.

Saying someone is pretty or good-looking is a bit more respectful than "m8 she's bang-tidy." Starting to wonder if you even know what said phrase means, given you seem to think "bang tidy" is just another way of calling a girl (or whomever) pretty.

I know what it means. It's Kieth Lemon's phrase for a woman who's sexy, which is pretty much the same as calling a woman pretty IMO.

People use it plenty of times in modern conversation and I'm not referring to annoying chavs here.

Dude. Stop. You're an idiot.

'Sexy' means 'sexually attractive or exciting.' That is not the same as 'pretty.' (Be honest, you heard KL use the phrase and thought it socially acceptable to adopt said phrase without actually learning what you're saying by using it. It's not smart or cool either. There's a difference in the way KL says it to you using it in day-to-day life.)

That doesn't make it okay.

Please stop.

You do understand that Keith Lemon is taking the piss?

BTW, do you have a girlfriend?

No. But I don't give a **** about romance like everyone else does (who seem to spend every bloody day looking for a new boyfriend or girlfriend).

No wonder. Even if you did, I bet people would happily stay well away.

What about men who find Ann Widdecombe sexy and imagine being 'disciplined' by her with a strap-on, you nutter?

Next you'll be comparing Elmer Fudd with Chas & Dave...

From the last series, definitely Seb. I love him. GUS was great value, too.

Otherwise - River Song. She'd have fantastic chemistry with Twelve. As would Captain Jack Harkness. Imagine the flirting! Leela, Tegan and Donna would be fab, too, because Twelve seems fondest of people who challenge him the most.

Quite a nasty thing to say and notably considerably more offensive than anything Dalekbuster has said. Coming across as a bit of a sanctimonious individual I'm afraid and your constant 'oh so superior' prodding of said forum member is bordering, note I said bordering, on what I would consider bullying. It's certainly highly unpleasant and I would suggest you stop picking on easy targets.

To be fair Considering the amount of offensive things dalekbuster has said about the various different minority groups in the past few weeks I find Lewis Christians comment tame in comparison. I've seen so many offensive things from dalekbuster just in the past couple of weeks on different minority groups that he kind of deserves what he gets. Women on here. Sticking up for a convicted and well known paedophile pretty much saying it was ok for what he did and offending gypsies by saying It's the Gypsies who are the offensive people simply because of their choice of life and also "I wouldn't mind the way they live if it wasn't such a nuisance to society. It doesn't work and the Gypsies should therefore live like the rest of us in houses". These are just 3 examples. There are plenty more especially when it comes to the overweight and various other subjects.
