What is the point in that? These problems should be acknowledged, not ignored because 'Oh, it's just the way they like to live'.

But I wouldn't mind them if they didn't cause problems for the nation; the fact is, they do. And it IS a fact because I believe the problems they cause is common knowledge. If they can find a way to live how they do without potentially ruining the fairness of the economy, then fine. But they haven't done.

I simply don't care what you personal views are, but this is a Doctor Who forum, so can we please stick to discussions of Who and not your bigotted viewpoint of the world.

But not all gypsies cause problems though. Most of them are fine it's the small percentage that cause problems. why should 12 million gypsies worldwide change their way of life which has been running for hundreds of years (and origins estimated as far back as the early 800s) because of a small number causing problems. It's like saying team x is full of football hooligans and all their fans should be punished when its actually only a small percentage of those fans are hooligans. That's the same logic that you are using.

And what problems are these?

The last thing I'll say is: I'm sure Gypsies are nice people but their way of life is too problematic for this country. It's just my view of course but one that I believe is both fair and shared with many people in this country.

Would anyone else love to see Wilf return? One of the best RTD Era characters IMO.

Having horrendous politics (which many people on this board have) is a shame and stupid views are right to be challenged or maybe a quick reminder not to talk right or left wing drivel but thats different to personal insults. And the fact is if you think Db or anyone else is so insufferable then ignore them. Just seems a lot of threads are being derailed by one or two people engaging in ludicrous back and forth arguments with Dalekbuster for the sport of it. Take it to PM if you want to argue about gypsies and gender representation and the male gaze in the media.

I thought my comment was tame, and one that he can shrug off if he so wishes. After all, that's what DB is best at.

He can't take criticism, he doesn't know when to stop, he never admits he's wrong, he never stands down, he hates when people challenge him. In the last couple of weeks he's tried justifying the objectification of women; supported Rolf Harris (who, it turns out, has now got more things to answer for it seems, so DB will no doubt soon be back on his protest march claiming he's innocent again); called victims of RH liars; insulted a couple of minorities; and justified (or tried to justify) that child porn is fine under certain conditions. So yeah, frankly, I think my "no wonder you don't have a girlfriend, people would run a mile and rightly so" kind of remark I feel is pretty tame. I just do not understand how someone can be so rude, ignorant, idiotic, naive and careless about so many things. And then he turns everything into a joke, making light of comments when he's already dug himself a massive hole on occasion.

(I hate derailing threads but sometimes yeah, Doctor Who forum or whatever, people need to be called out on or challenged.) I apologise for my dig, fair enough, but I retain that I think DB needs some serious education and to think before he posts in future.

Increasingly I've found myself thinking that I actually don't want to be on this forum sometimes because he's around, and others (not all DB to be fair!). I could put him on 'ignore', but that's me ignoring issues and things he says which I feel strongly about or which I want to talk about, hence I don't put anyone on ignore. (Cos, also, to be fair, sometimes he makes fun ideas and says great things which I do agree with too!) But I think I'm done on this forum. It's nowhere near as fun as it was, in my view (other views are available), so I'll be off.
