Samsung Smart Hub app problem
We have a Samsung 40" Smart TV which has been fine all the time we have had it. However yesterday when I switched on the Smart hub there was a message saying it was being updated which it subsequently did. When it had finished there were three pages of apps which had been downloaded, most of which I have no use for at all (music, kids stuff, sport etc) I had successfully removed all the unwanted apps (took 45 minutes!) and then, when I checked they were all back!
![]() OK, so they aren't doing any harm (presumably) but the one app I want on the first page, Amazon Instant Video, isn't there at all and I have to go through to the Samsung Apps page! Has anyone any idea how I can stop these irritating apps appearing and also how can I get the Amazon app to appear on the screen. It was there before this update. |

Thanks Graham, I did that after posting the second message above. Just waiting for a reply. What I cannot understand is why they cannot have an "opt in" system for the apps, not an "opt out"! And where's my Amazon Instant Video link? (A rhetorical question - don't expect you to answer).
