Eviction Shows

I was just thinking about this - how would you like ch5 to present eviction shows bearing in mind to include the showing of the previous day highlights?

All in one hour is definitely not enough, it only allows like ten minutes of highlights. I would like it to be like ch4 did it where it was split into two parts.
9pm-10pm - highlights then at the end, announce evictee
Half an hour break
1030pm-11pm - Eviction then interview
11pm-12midnight - BOTS

I would rather that then it all being crammed into a one hour show. it makes it feel like a proper event plus we get a decent amount of the previous day's highlight and the evictee can get a proper interview. Probably wont happen though sadly

The way C4 used to do it.

I just want to see the highlight and not the recap .
The format from CH4 is the way to go on eviction night .

Totally agree John. A split eviction show worked much better and also allowed the evcitee to share their full experience of their time in the house. The build up to the exit of the departing housemate was also much more exciting.

I agree the old two part eviction night was much better, mainly so you could get a decent amount of hls and interview

With the 2 part eviction shows we always got spoilers, not always well hidden.

Did we? I don't recall, but if they do the eviction announcement at the end of the first show then there are no spoilers

I think Channel 5 would go with a split eviction show providing they have ample time to poorly edit their chosen evictee beforehand.

The best part of the Channel 4 style 2 part eviction were 8 Out Of 10 Cats in between

When BB was a Channel 4 show, 8 out of 10 Cats used to discuss it almost weekly. Mainly involving Sean Lock saying hed rather light himself on fire than watch the show but still funny break in between the eviction shows

I don't think a 2 part eviction would work now a days (in terms of ratings). A straight up 90 minute show from 9pm would suit me.

channel 5 like to pad out the eviction shows with crap. such as back and forth cuts to the house to announce whos safe and all that other shite. they are determined to give us as little highlights as possible.

John, I agree. The more the merrier as far as I'm concerned. Cramming it all in, by the time you've taken out the ads there's not much left really.

I struggle to watch a 90 min show now. The last few seasons have been really poor and the week Cami Li was evicted I almost switched off as it took forever for us to get a result.

I like just the hour shows TBH
