I don't care what anyone says, River's story is over. If Moffat brings her back, it's because he fancies her.

Being a flirt is not an answer.”

Fine. Her romantic nature she shows towards every single thing.

Yes, if only you had a girlfriend...

What utter nonsense.

I'll give you a clue - nothing in her character says she would do either of those things.

Flirting is categorically, hands-down, unequivocally not cheating. Nor does it lead to having an affair. I don't think you understand what flirting is...

And if you accused a girlfriend of having an affair if you find her flirting with someone, you won't have a girlfriend for very long.

Flirting and teasing is part of her nature. She does it to wind up the doctor for a bit of fun. It doesn't mean anything more then that.

Be interesting if she does return. How will the Doctor and Clara react ?. Can River's soul finally find peace ?. If she returns Amy and Rory should at least be briefly mentioned. Can they really rest without their daughter ?.

You do realise the same thing you have problem with in River is what Jack is also guilty of?

Captain Jack isn't married like River Song is.

I feel the River Song character has served her purpose.
DW needs to move on and leave her in the Matt Smith era along with Amy and Rory.

So if River was to stand by a tree, would you say she was flirting with the tree?

If she was talking to it in a flirty way.

I suppose River could say " You're a tall tree aren't you?" Would that be flirting?

If Alex Kingston used a flirtatious tone of voice.

Do you mean that none of his numerous Weddings took place in an alternative Timeline which then ceased to exist?
