It's really odd they either went so late with either the negotiation or just the announcement of this. One might think they have no idea that announcing a show more than a few weeks before a premiere allows you know... publicity.
But, again, those without PayTV won't get to see it. I'll bet Sky outbid everyone as usual. |

I expect the delay in the announcement was due to bidding from other broadcasters delaying things and then the final negotiations plus consideration of when they could schedule it.
It would be nice to have Gotham and AoS to complete a superhero week but I do have lots of other things to watch.

They may well do that but it will be at least a year later; most likely more.
I mean, they only just started showing Stargate SG1 recently and that's more than ten years old! |

I used to find Sky picking up shows annoying but since they introduced NowTV I don't think it's too bad now.

A good trailer for the show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFpS4kpMOOk
Is this now the UK pace one since there is a US pace thread now. |

There is a separate 'Supergirl - Sky 1' thread, but it's much smaller, last post on the 25th. So if the OP could request the two to be merged while and changing the title to adopt that thread's...

I'm not entirely convinced by some of the acting in that trailer tbh ..... It does look pretty good though.

Looking forward to this - even if it is mostly for Melissa Benoist
![]() But in all seriousness I love the arrow and the flash - so hopefully this lives up to those 2! |

What's the chance this gets a back 9 order? I assume high.

Can't wait for this. I saw the pilot online earlier this year. Enjoyed it. Lets face it, it's from the guys that brought us arrow and the flash so im sure it will do great.

Surely it would have to do shockingly bad for it not to get renewed and i just don't see that happening.

I've never watched any of the Superhero TV shows since the Superman of about 15 years ago ?......the one with the lovely Teri Hatcher as Lois Lane
I might check this one though as I have a vacuum on Thursday nights.....(oh, that reads as though it's my hoovering night !) I've seen some trailers on Sky for things like Flash and Arrow and I might have liked them but it's too late now.......so I might get in at the beginning of this new one I can always dump it after a couple of episodes which is what I usually do with new series......

It's a shame there won't be a crossover with arrow and the flash. Would of loved to of seen that but since she's an actual super human I'm not sure any of the baddies in the 2 shows would be a match for her.
