Erm... laser vision plus a set of mirrors?
Let's hope she doesn't fancy a Brazilian. Ouch.

Henshaw was clearly that voice talking to Astra at the end, sounded exactly like him. Guessing he'll be the main villain.

I'm sure Kryptonite played a part. Leave it nearby to sufficiently weaken her and pierce her ears. Job done
But then when you take the Kryptonite away, the holes heal up...

...

I can't tell you WHAT I'm thinking right now :P

Probably been asked before but how come SuperGirl has got a chicken pox scar in-between her eyes?

Like the show though. Love me some female super hero stuff. Like how she proclaims in the intro that now Earth has got two super heroes - up yours Flash and Batman and all the other sundry DC folk.

Regards

Mark

Didn't sound like him to me, plus it also makes no sense.

If he was working with the Evil Aunt, then why turn up in the nick of time to stop her from killing Supergirl, and why stab her with Kryptonite?

As it stands no other DC heroes exist in her version of Earth.

Also as I already mentioned, kryptonite would have been a known quantity and not a surprise to Astra if Henshaw was working for her.

They wouldn't close up if she had a stud or a ring in there.

She didn't leave Krypton until she was 14 so any scars ect she had before then she will still have.

On this verson of Earth only her and Superman exist ( However more heroes will likely be added over the years like in Arrow and Flash)

I still struggle with the Cat Grant piece and why the second most powerful person on Earth would pander to such a stupid individual. Get a job somewhere else !!

The constant mentions of her cousin don't help....it highlights the fact that he is doing bugger all to help her.

And , whilst I understand the lack of confidence approach, it's going to get tired very quickly if we have a whole season of Supergirl questioning herself.

Same reason Clark allows himself to be pushed around by everybody it helps hide the secret nobody thinks these wimpy pushovers are Superman/Supergirl as why would such powerful people allow themself to be pushed around by anybody.

I was hoping Supergirl would at least told Kat not to threaten to fire her friends if they don't get her an interview.

Not just go long and give her the interview.

Setting a president for Kat to just threaten Jimmy anytime she fancies an exclusive.

You're thinking of the Reeve Superman and even then, although a bit of a bumbler, his Kent really didn't take that much crap from anyone.

Thinking more certain eras of the comics really.

In the last ep of Smallville he decided to let others push him around a bit to help hide.

Plus she wants to work there the top newspaper in the city as again like CK it gives her advance warning on anything she could help with.

She could do that in the next episode since the last episode ended only with them meeting.

Well those things will probably be revealed in time, no point revealing the whole story in epiosde 2.

I still think it highly unlikely, as it simply wouldn't make any sense.

My current bet for the mystery man aiding the Evil Aunt is the wealthy tech guru person that Supergirl's friend is a fanboy of (following the trope it's someone we've already seen).

(Of course, I don't know the comic history of that guy.

In the comics Maxwell Lord is one of the main financial backers and heavily involved in the formation of the Justice League. However, as with most comic characters, he has about a million different versions as well!

Another thing I have spotted.

Kara has earrings but as a young girl did not have pierced ears. So how did she get her ears pierced on earth?
Strange things called clipons?

I binged watched the first two episodes I thought it was pretty good ...this show defo has potential missed the red eyes thing may have to a rewatch of ep 2

Jimmy (james ) being black and buffed surprised me ,...guy plays TK (terrance King ) in necessary roughness (he is a American footballer) really good actor and I like him but Jimmy will to me always be weedy and white it will take some getting used to (not him being black ) itll take some getting used to him NOT being a cocky brash American footballer with drink and drug problem
