It's shown three days later than in the US.

Without two threads, people watching at UK pace would have to avoid the US pace thread until after the episode had been shown here on Thursday night.

... And that wouldn't work, as we've seen here before.


Having a single thread just about works for something shown on the same day, but not with a gap like this.

Yes, although I do find it odd that her heat vision seems to be blue when I would have expected red!

Good news, I'm glad they're giving it the full 22 episode run, it makes things a lot easier for long term story development knowing you've got that back 9 (or 7 in this instance for a 20 episode long series).

I thought this was off for a week like Flash and Arrow so I missed the first 15 minutes

A few weeks ago there was a dreadful cover of Cyndi Lauper's True Colours and now there's a just as dreadful of Go Your Own Way by Fleetwood Mac

There was also a twee cover of Take Me To Church by Hozier a couple of weeks back. The kind of crap you get on adverts.

The woman who plays Supergirl gives me a super boner!

There is a free app in the Windows 10 Store called 'freefilm tv series' and from it you can watch Supergirl among others free of charge (not ad free but ads only appear on top of screen and are not that intrusive.

I have no idea if that app is illegal, but it seems odd it is freely available from MS appstore.

Probably for the same reason ie they couldn't be bothered to get the rights to use the original version

Angry Kara was even hotter than nice, placid Kara.

I liked Smallville but I thought it was a shame we never really saw him become Superman, only the brief moment at the end of the very last episode.

But I'm enjoying Supergirl, sure it's not as dark or gritty as Netflix Daredevil or Jessica Jones, but it's fun and enjoyable. Like the good old days when you don't get pointless sex scenes and people getting killed off for the 'shock factor' which both are overused on a lot of shows now.

Awesome episode this week. I loved angry Supergirl, and some nice scenes between Melissa Benoist and Calista Flockhart. They have great chemistry.

Maybe it's just my age but I think she's much sexier as the office girl.................

I'm enjoying this much more than I thought I would..................it's the first one of the current multitude of comic book superhero shows that I've bothered to watch. For some reason I've always thought of them as not being my kind of show

Another strong episode following on from Livewire. The show is definitely finding it's feet. With more female characters, at least in prominence, it really feels quite different to Arrow and The Flash.


You should definitely check out 'The Flash' if you like this one.

Another great ep. Did annoy me that she got blamed for red tordado going out of control when general lane was the one who ordered her to fight it in the in first place to test its capabilities.

Still overly twee....the Jimmy bits make me hurl.

Cat Grant bits save it. She actually is the best mentor Cara has. Maxwell Lord is intriguing as well.

Really give the "let's blame Supergirl for everything" a f###ing rest !

I didn't think they would use Solar Flare so quick.

In the comics Superman only got that power this year so it is brand new.

So next week will be Kara human/powerless while she recharges.
