I'd use it quickly as well though...It's the best change to Supermans powers in years..he's far too overpowered to make him in any way interesting to me.

Whilst I think Marvel have gone to the opposite extreme with Thor and depowered him too much, especially in the films, at least it makes him more relatable.

The only thing with Cara bleeding in Cats office and Cats reaction is that I'd always had an inkling that Cat knew her secret..but obviously not.

I agree, it's the glasses. and liking the 'sister' too - plus Cat.

Turning into a little gem of a series.

I might agree were it not for that red skirt.

Holy shit.

I'm just hoping she keeps the costume as it is, and doesn't end up in red trousers

Still think she ought to wear something similar to this!

As a long time comics fan i can report that Supergirl has never has a settled costume, unlike her cousin. I'm just glad we didn't get the mid eighties headband/bubbleperm version.

It's like no one recognising Clark Kent. I just think people won't see them because of what they do. They could shout it out and people would just say "you wish you were"

I know Kara normally wears her hair up and wears specs but at Games Night she had her hair down and looked too much like she does as supergirl. How Lucy never recognised her is beyond me especially when she saw Supergirl up close that day. They speak the same too. Not enough subtle differences.

It's a real life phenomenon, though. You see what you expect to see. If you see something that you would never expect in a situation your brain just fails to register it:

I agree, it was a great episode this week with a lot of emotional heart to it. I love that Calista's character is becoming a bit more sympathetic too.

It's definitely my favourite of the DC shows at the moment.

Especially when she stands next to that poster sized cover of the magazine.

It always amuses me that in a show/film about a character shooting laser beams out of their eyes, flying and throwing cars about like toys, it's the 'people don't recognise them as the same person' that breaks the suspension of disbelief.

Hehe. Yeah. Like a few years ago back when David Tennant was Doctor Who. They had the earth being pulled back into this Galaxy by the TARDIS. I seem to recall that someone wrote to the Radio Times, or perhaps it was an on-line comment. Not sure now, but someone actually complained that "[the TARDIS] wouldn't be able to do that!"

One thing about destroying Red Tornado and killing the creator is that it seems that
Spoiler
all the other 'Red' androids
won't be showing up.

Too true.

Parked up next to the wife's car tonight and came in the house only to have it pointed out that it was a courtesy car that was a different make and colour.

I was surprised to find out she did nude scenes in Homeland as I watched it and don't remember her at all

Doubt the show has been given the right to kill off Red Tornado.

One character I want to see is the alternate universe (or whatever they would use) and use Power Girl.

Great idea. Especially if they could bring The Huntress with her, and have a bit of a World's Finest reunion.

I'm still a bit angry at DC for what they did to that title. And a few others.

I don't think we're too far behind the US (same week or week after, isn't it?) and I just spotted a Facebook post mentioning
Spoiler
"this week's" big reveal about ol' red eyes.
So obviously I didn't read any more nor click on the link; and not long to wait

(It's not really an actual spoiler, but I guess some people might consider it so.)

I just pretend that both Kara's and Clark's glasses are Kryptonian technology and emit some sort of perception filter that makes people not recognise them as being Supergirl or Superman.

BLASTR.Com spoiled it for me. I was gutted but what can you do when they say "spoiler alert" and then have a massive spoilery picture on the main page. Le sigh!
