No idea...but anything is an improvement on this lame show.
It's not as upbeat as it used to be. Kara used to love being Supergirl, and it showed, but now she's all full of angst. Kat is the best thing in the show because she's still fun.

Which, to be fair, is far more "normal" I would think, and therefore a 'good thing' for the show. ie at least there's some character development. I think there'd be complaints if nothing changed

I agree. I mentioned it before how she plays the homly, awkward, shy character well.
Her sister is the more straight laced, straight talking kick ass type. Which is strange as the star is Supergirl but good if that's what floats your boat.
I'm quite partial to the kick ass female characters - Resident Evil, Columbiana, Aeon Flux and the like.
I just caught up with the episode and it was okay. It felt a bit anti-climatic after the cliffhanger type ending of the episode before the break. Hoping it picks up again and looking forward to the

To me Maxwell Lord feels a little too much like Lex Luther, but I guess that is what happens when they are both rich inventors.

I have to say, I didn't get that quicksand thing. A human could pull someone out of quicksand. Someone with enough strength to hold up a falling plane while in mid-air would have had no problem whatsoever just flying out of it!
