Why can Martians fly on Earth? I thought the whole reason of Kryptionians being able to fly was because of it being a different Sun?

The 'Black Mercy'! I geeked out when I recognised it.

I recommend anyone who hasn't done so reads Superman Annual #11, the first appearance of the thing. It's by the same creative team who did 'Watchmen' and is called 'For The Man Who Has Everything', which is where the title for this Supergirl episode came from. It's one of the best mainstream comics of the last few dacades.

Never thought about it. Just accepted he could in Justice League.

According to the Superman Wiki...

Quote:
“The Martian Manhunter flies by manipulation of gravitons (a subatomic particle associated with the force of gravity) manipulation of magnetic fields and control of his absolute molecular movement (a telekinetic effect). These combine to give him the ability to fly great distances with little fatigue and at great speed. He has been seen to fly at Mach 10 speeds (7690mph) in the Earth's atmosphere.”

Last night they mentioned a bounty hunter, no name. Think second time.

Wonder if the bounty hunter they worry about is Lobo?
Wonder how Kara would react to him turning up in National Cify?

Very similar to that electric woman earlier in the season.

This is the first of the Superhero shows that I've watched and it's noticeable how all the female Superheros or Supervillains are slim and gorgeous and wear body hugging uniforms to show off their curves........and all the male Supervillains are ugly Neanderthals with boils and warts......

Enjoyed the sequence with Legion Flight Ring.
Wouldn't it be interesting if Superboy, and some of the Legion ended up in Nationsl City. Kara was supposed to protect her cousin. Maybe she has, but does not know that yet.

Sorry getting Quantum Physics, which is sometimes a indicator of no ideas in the script team.

Going back a couple of weeks,. It's pretty stupid that the jailor can put up a decent fight against Supergirl early in the episode and then later on Danvers is holding her own in a first fight with him.

Also noticed she never wears a helmet. Guess she would rather not mess up her hair so is willinig to take a bullet to the head.

Main characters in TV shows and films never ever wear helmets (unless you are Karl Urban playing Judge Dredd).

If they have one at the start of a fight they will have had it knocked off or thrown it away within a minute

For the same reason I alway hide the helmet in any RPG I'm playing. I didn't go to all the trouble of creating a character only to not see their face

does anyone know when we will be seeing the episode with the Flash in that has already been aired a while ago in the states. I was just wondering how far behind them we are.

Why would she need a helmet? She's bulletproof.

It says NO SPOILERS so why the hell have you just ruined upcoming episodes?

Whilst I agree with your sentiment (although not as harshly) it's hardly a massive spoiler. It was announced ages ago that it would happen. Nothing secret about it.

Not sure poor 'Jedi Matt' deserves your words

Whilst I agree it something that might well be hard to keep secret, I certainly wouldn't even have considered mentioning it in here just in case someone may not have heard about it.

That said, I'm sure it has been mentioned in this thread before.
