He had a superdog called Krypto if I remember correctly
I'd forgotten about him! Of course, him and Supercat (and Comet the Superhorse!) were all in the Legion of Super-Pets, weren't they (along with Beppo the Supermonkey)? I seem to remember a Bat-Hound back in the dim and distant past too. However, being a cat person, Supergirl's Streaky is definitely my fave.

(I am not making this up. )

Wow, I only ever knew about Krypto but a swift google has opened my eyes. Next spin-off anyone?

Interesting, they're casting Tyler Hoechlin (of TeenWolf fame) as Superman apparently.

I've just read that and yes it is interesting and a good choice as he does do well as Derek in Teen Wolf so it will be interesting to see his take on the role of the Man of Steel.

YESS!! He'll be awesome. I just hope they keep the perky vibe - and that that Man of Steel SMILES

And it's all lovely

Based on the last episode & what Ive gathered online, Kara only appears as Supergirl doesnt she?

She doesnt appear in her civvies does she for the last 2 episodes of Season 1?

Assuming Cat thinks Kiera is one of the affected people!

Only three unaffected characters. Cat, Kara and Maxwell.

Very good Season finale. I'm already looking forward to Season 2 .

Melissa Benoist is a brilliant Kara Zor-El/Kara Danvers/Supergirl and the speech she did on the TV to give people hope was great.

Cat Grant finally called her Kara and not Kira for the first time I wonder what role Kara will have next Season at CatCo now that she's been promoted as we didn't hear what position we got did we?

I love the the sisterly bond of Kara and Alex. I also liked the battle between Supergirl/Martian Manhunter and Non/Indigo.

Finally I wonder what/who is in the pod?

Was a good finale. But when Supergirl was in space I wanted it to be more drametic and upsetting. like in Superman Returns when he came crashing back down to Earth. Alex flying the tiny plod spaceship looked a bit silly imo.

But I really liked this season, it was just a good fun enjoyable show.

My first thought.

Of with temporal reality things,
Superboy. We know Legion Superheros Flight Ring was in fortress of Solitude.
Herself aka Power Girl?

Whatever it is she knows who, what is inside.
We know her cousin is in Season 2, episodes 1 & 2.

I know that the whole show involves suspension of belief but that ending demanded suspension of belief within the parameters of the show

We see Alex with 2 or 3 minutes to go until meltdown in the DOE bunker then two minutes later she's in orbit in the pod........she ain't got any superpowers so how did she manage that !

I really enjoyed that series.........my first Comic Book hero series that I've watched

To be honest I'm not tempted to watch any of the others but might be if I could catch a new one from the start...........

I wonder if Superman will just be in those two episodes or will he be in a recurring role in Season 2 and if he is in a recurring role will he help in the search of finding Jeremiah Danvers and Project Cadmus?

The role of Superman has now been cast for season 2 but I would have preferred Tom Welling from Smallville.

And if it is a recurring role then when does he get his own show? There was a time when there couldn't be another superman in a tv series while the movie franchise is still going but clearly something has changed.

I wouldn't mind if that happens but I'm also hoping Laura Vandervoort appears as Supergirl again (on the other Earth) as well because she won't be Indigo anymore now that she's dead.

Also it would be nice to see Erica Durance's Lois again has she been in anything since Smallville?

It has not been confirmed if universes will merge, now they have moved Supergirl to Canada. But seems a number of actors, actresses are going to be part of the universe, not a show.
Superman i suspect will be part of the crossover between the four shows.

I get the feeling that the pod will be something boring like her mother

Anyway I'm more interested to see how they will manage to get Supergirl into the Flash,Arrow and Legends Of Tomorrow universe as they have already established that they are in different universes!

Maybe the Superman guest appearance in Supergirl is part of that storyline in the first two episodes or will they leave it until the four part crossover episodes between the shows in December that she joins the other universe!

Although it seems strange to have Superman appear in the first two episodes unless it's a two parter episode!
