The highest selling album per decade in the U.K. and the U.S.
Not counting girl groups and boy bands.
Any help filling in the gaps? Female UK 1980s - Kylie Minogue - Kylie 1990s - ? 2000s - Dido - No Angel 2010s - Adele - 21 I'm not sure if Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette is the highest selling album of the 1990s. USA 1980s - Whitney Houston - Whitney Houston 1990s - Shania Twain - Come on Over 2000s - Norah Jones - Come Away with Me 2010s - Adele - 21 I think Norah Jones is correct, some claim it's Oops! I Did It Again by Britney Spears. Male U.K. 1980s - Michael Jackson - Bad or Thriller? 1990s - ? 2000s - James Blunt - Back to Bedlam 2010s - Michael Bublé – Christmas I'm not sure if The Very Best of Elton John is the higest selling album by a male artist of the 1990s. USA 1980s - Michael Jackson - Thriller 1990s - Garth Brooks – No Fences 2000s - Eminem – The Eminem Show 2010s - Eminem – Recovery I'm not sure about Garth Brooks. |

Surely Shania Twain would be the highest UK female of the 90s too. It was massive. Or possibly The Immaculate Collection.
