That's been in subsequent trailers and teasers for the end of the season so I suspect that will still be in and they'll just be using the original footage shot for the network promo.

I've only just got caught up with last week's episode but I thoroughly enjoyed it yet again, even with the annoying Kendra/Carter bits. There were some great individual moments as well and I absolutely love that this team is flawed to the nth degree, it's what makes them relatable.

Savage finally finally finally got some scene time which demonstrated what a threat he actually is. The way he was able to play them all was well done and while it wasn't a great surprise to me that the Time Masters had been helping him out, the reveal and Rip's reaction to that betrayal was well done.

Great fight scene in the Waverider and we know that Snart, Sara and Jax are going to come and save everyone in tonight's episode leaving us just the one left for the big season finale.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love that these characters fail, it's going to make the big season pay off all the more sweeter when they eventually do come together properly to take down Savage.

Also bonus point for the fabulous CGI for the Vanishing Point which looked like some weird ass space skeleton creature.

Jesus Christ this episode though, really got me hard in the feels towards the end there, definitely did not expect that twist at all

I think they kinda wrote themselves into a corner with the whole "The enemy can manipulate time" thing, because if they could see Rip and the team coming, why could they not see Jax coming? Other than that little issue I have I thought this was actually a very well done episode, in fact it was so good in comparison to almost every other episode of the show that I'm actually quite shocked.

I thought Mick was the MVP this week, he really sold every scene he was in, and like I said, that ending was pretty emotional.

We'll just have to put it down to plot convenience, cause surely if the time lords could see everything happening, they'd have seen their plan all fall apart. I don't think we're suppose to look too much into this, cause the show has already established that one fixed point in time isn't actually all that fixed when the setting suits. I enjoyed this episode, but the whole time stuff is a royal mess.

Wow, really? I wonder what brought on that decision. Maybe it's Prison Break (but then Dominic would surely be in the same boat with that decision?)

One thing we do know, the scene with Barry (or a Flash) fighting with the Legends has Snart with them, so assuming that scene wasn't made simply for the teasers, Snart (and Barry) will be back. I also think, now that Savage can travel through time, that we're not going to see him defeated this season.

The last of Snart or maybe not. No, I don't think but that sacrifice did hit me though. I've loved his character over the season and I'd happily lose a few others over him though.

I did like his scenes with Sara and Mick in this episode. Mick can totally kill Savage now.

The gang's reaction to Snart's exit as well as learning that the Time Masters were manipulating everything was great.

Kendra really could've came into her own in this one but they relegated her into damsel mode though with Savage, 8/10

Good episode, sad to see Lenny go but he did die in some timey wimey machine explosion so he could easily come back. Heck, the team could even travel back in time and pick up an earlier version of him.

Don't understand why the team were so upset about the time masters using the Oculus to manipulate time, they're time masters, they interfere with the timeline, the team knew that already. Isn't Rip manipulating the timeline to save his family? Isn't that the same thing? Plus, just how many people did they kill blowing that thing up? And how badly have they compromised the timeline in doing so?

Wonder if Mick will stick around without Lenny there. Though yeah, he's definitely showing more "team spirit" now.

WOW an actual decent episode. I stopped watching about episode 6 and caught up at the Western episode. It's been OK but that episode 15 was pretty good.

Absolutely! Such a brilliant episode, it pretty much had everything I've come to expect from this show - the humour, the great use of music, some great action scenes, the team screwing something up and then an emotional sucker punch coming out of left field.

And then Snart going out a hero, talk about all the feels. I've often thought he was more of an anti-hero than an outright villain, his previous appearances in The Flash when he "helped" Barry out before always carried a sense of him just choosing to be a bad boy rather than him being one natively and following on from Sara's kiss, carried a whole weight of missed opportunities.

The season finale promo looks superb but there's still no sign of the big robot fight in the futuristic setting so it may be that those scenes were for the network teaser only.

I loved the reveal that the Time Masters had been manipulating the whole shebang, it explained why Rip's team were always so hopelessly inept rather than then the heroes and legends he'd proclaimed them to be. I liked the irony of this bunch of actually quite clever and skilled people mucking it up over and over again and it's clever in that it gives them a legitimate back story now for all the odd time paradoxes - the Time Masters instead of observing and guarding the TImeline have actually been deliberately manipulating it through Rip.

Kendra and Carter are the only ones who can kill Savage so that's why they're still alive (not to mention their species are being set up as "the big bad" of Series 2 so that's them given permanent plot armour...), plus Snart's death has an emotional punch where as most people would have rejoiced to see Kendra/Carter die.

We were told that what happens at the Vanishing Point isn't set in stone (Snart dying instead of Ray for example) so as long as the Time Masters were only concentrating on following the Waverider then Jax turning up at the VP would have been a surprise to them and not the outcome they had expected to see (where Rip and co turn up without Jax and are all killed).

If they had bothered looking through time to see what Jax was up to they would have seen him travelling to the VP but they obviously didn't.

Really enjoyable.

No Carter and minimal Kendra and Savage certainly helped that but the rest of the characters got a chance to shine. I really liked how the Sara and Snart relationship has developed and it still impresses me that the best character arc has been for Heatwave over the season. Mick killing that Time Master was totally badass.

Jax has definitely gotten better as a character and I liked him interacting with Stein back in 2016.

The Thanagarians does pretty much guarantee the Hawks sticking around for season 2. I'm definitely not a fan of that idea which is a shame as I did think they would be decent characters to begin with but the pair of them are just so insipid.

Just watched the finale, it was so utterly stupid in so many ways but first let me get this little doozy off my chest:

HOLY CRAP KENDRA, CARTER AND SAVAGE ARE THE ONLY CHARACTERS NOT RETURNING FOR SEASON 2 HOW GREAT IS THAT?!?!?

As for the ridiculous episode itself:
- It still doesn't make sense to me how Savage can be killed in 3 different places at 3 different points in time.
- It also doesn't make sense to me that that exact World War 1 helmet ended up on the Waverider.
- It ALSO doesn't make sense to me that Firestorm could suddenly transform things.
- So if the entire Waverider crew went and took on Damian Dahrk, they'd die, Laurel would die AND Detective Lance would die?! How in the hell does that make sense?!
- Ray's shrink ability was mighty convenient.
- Shame that they retread some familiar beats with Rip abandoning the team and Stein and Jax briefly arguing about being in "the driver seat".
- Did enjoy the callbacks to the previous episodes set in the 50s and 70s.
- Had a little giggle to myself as Rip was flying into the sun when he decided to try and shield his eyes.
- Did anyone really think Rip was going to die? They dragged that out for so long, my god...
- Hardcore comic book fans probably creamed themselves at the very end scene but as I don't read comics I was left indifferent and confused, I think that's a problem that "The Flash" manages to avoid where as this show just doesn't care. I get that it's basically the Earth 2 Justice League but yeah I can't say it had me gobsmacked.
- Have to wonder how Snart is going to be incorporated next season given Wentworth Miller's contract.

1) It was about those points being when he was most vulnerable and that he had a different meteor in each point in time so they needed to stop him in all three places because they needed to stop the meteor blowing up as well/
2) It's not about that exact helmet ending up on the waverider, it's that it was always on the ship. Kendra saw it when it was from and realised she could use it to send a message.
3) Considering that is one of the key powers of firestorm that they have omitted until now in a usable way it does make sense. It's how Stein and Jax combine, through transmutation.
4) Dhark can only really be stopped with magic at this point, they explained that in Arrow.
5) Ray has always had the shrink ability, he just never needed to use it as a weapon.

1) However, if they all just went to his earliest version with the meteor, the later 2 versions wouldn't exist to do what they needed with the meteors.
2) How did Kendra KNOW it was that helmet...surely there are a few like it, it looked fairly generic to me!

Regardless, I've learnt from watching these past weeks to just sit and ignore things like this, LoT handling of time travel is a little "sketchy" shall we say?

Curious as to how Savage suddenly had knowledge regarding the meteors and how to reset time to 1700 BC (or whenever it was), you could argue he's been around long enough, especially off-screen and could have had plenty of time to gain that knowledge, but then wouldn't he have also known (or figured out) that the meteors made him mortal again? In fact why the hell did the team deduct that he'd be immortal?!

Loved, loved, loved this one. My new favourite. Seeing Savage being killed three times over by Kendra, Sara, Mick and Rip was bloody glorious. A deserved exit for an annoying villain.

Not disappointed that Kendra/Carter decided to leave but I think we'll see them next season in some capacity along with Snart.

The appearance of Hourman at the end was nice. Love what that's setting up next season as well.

Sara's reaction to Laurel's death was heartbreaking. Mick getting to see Snart once again also the same too.

Great moments with Ray and Jax/Stein in this episode too. I also liked Clarissa encouraging her husband to travel again too. 8/10

Good finale, couple of little niggles but I can mostly forgive those when a show makes up for it with the fun factor.

The tri-killing of Vandal gave individual characters a chance to shine, but it didn't really make much sense. Also, when Rip tossed Vandal into the power box, why did it have a weird electro explosion? I wouldn't be surprised if Vandal's "spirit" or something was released at that point.

So, Kendra just so happened to escape Vandal at the exact point in time and space that a helmet Rip just happened to have on his shelf existed? That's one hell of a coincidence.

Not to mention the nonsense about objects physically moving in the present after being altered in the past? What?

To be honest though, none of these things is a big deal really. Liked the scene with Mick and Lenny, Caity Lotz did well too. Kendra and Carter didn't really work too well this season, I much preferred characters like Mick, Lenny, Sara, Ray, Rip, Martin and Jefferson. So, saying goodbye to the Hawk people was pretty easy. Season 2 looks to have loads of potential (would really love to see Supergirl or Flash in it).

Great first year overall I think, loved the interaction between the characters, the special effects were pretty good for TV and just the premise of time traveling superheroes alone make it worth watching.

Awesome finale! Loved seeing the team getting new tricks.

Mick being all soft with Snart at the end was so cute, lol. Also ''I give it 3 months tops!'' LOL

In a way I'm happy that Kendra and Carter won't be back for season 2. They were ok at the start of this season, but Kendra's character went downhill after the first few episodes.

Super excited for J.S.A!

The Jefferson and Martin scenes were great as always. Really happy that they're both back for next time. Easily my favourite alongside Mick.

So... Savage wanted to explode the three meteorites in three times so as to erase everything that had happened since they hit the Earth back in Ancient Egypt, so that he could then RULE THE WORLD etc. etc. etc.?

Why the hell didn't he simply use his TIMESHIP to travel back to Ancient Egypt and begin his rule that way? What was the point in "erasing time"?

They did say something about it being the craziest crazy plan a crazy bad guy from the crazy side of crazy town had ever come up with.

An enjoyable enough season overall as long as you didn't think too hard about somethings
